12-12-07 - Well, we're back from the Led Zeppelin reunion show in London, and what can we say but INCREDIBLE!! We'll have a more in-depth report up as soon as we catch our breath! We're planning to do the reunion set at both this Friday's show at the Marquee in Tempe, and the House of Blues Sunset on Jan 5 for everyone who didn't make it over to London, or if you did, to celebrate it all over again!

As announced today on the OFFICIAL LED ZEPPELIN SITE, the 3 surviving members of Led Zeppelin, joined by Jason Bonham on drums, will perform a one-off concert at London's O2 Arena on Mon, Nov 26. Tickets will be available by lottery; to get your name on the list, go to www.ahmettribute.com and register. Due to the huge demand, this site has been unavailable for most of the day, but will be accepting registrations through Mon, 9-17.


Nov 13 sees the release of a new Led Zeppelin compilation, "Mothership," and new editions of "The Song Remains The Same" on CD and DVD will be released Nov 20!

Led Zepagain is extremely proud to have been selected to perform for the new Hard Rock Park in Myrtle Beach, SC! Hard Rock Park opens in April '08, and features "Led Zeppelin - The Ride," a brand new roller coaster officially licensed by the members of Led Zeppelin, that plays Whole Lotta Love during the ride! Jimmy Page personally recommended Led Zepagain to perform for the opening of the Backstage Tour last month, and we have been asked to perform again later this year, as well as for the Grand Opening next year! In 1977, journalist Steven Rosen spent 11 days on tour with Led Zeppelin. His exclusive interviews with Jimmy Page and John Paul Jones ran as a Guitar Player magazine cover story that same year. We were honored that Steven attended our show at the Whisky A Go Go on 5/28/05, where he shared stories of his experiences with Led Zeppelin band members (He also interviewed Jimmy Page again in 1987!). He has kindly allowed us to share with you a fascinating story centering on his near disaster with John Paul Jones, as well as the full Jimmy Page interview as it appeared in Guitar Player back in 1977. He also included a rare photo of himself with Jimmy Page aboard the famous Starship! These are some rare and exciting glimpses into the world of the biggest rock and roll band of the 1970's!

On June 23, 1977, Led Zeppelin played their 3rd of an unprecedented 6 SOLD OUT shows at the Los Angeles Forum. Our friend and March '04 Fan of the Month, Captain Ron, was there and took some great pictures. See them HERE Look for The Who's Keith Moon joining Led Zeppelin in the last picture!
Come mark the anniversary of that occasion on June 23, 2004, with Led Zepagain at A Mi Hacienda in Pico Rivera, CA. FREE TICKETS now available from the Upcoming Gigs page!


Well, Zepstock 1 is now over, and it was a tremendous success! We turned in a 4 hour show (put us in a room full of rabid Zep heads, and there's just no stopping us!), and everyone had a great time all day and night!

And a 2-CD Robert Plant compilation, called 'Sixty Six to Timbuktu', is set for November 4. This set is scheduled to include not only his own solo hits, but pre-Zeppelin solo tracks from 1966/67 along with various collaborations he's done before and after Zeppelin as well.

May 27 sees the release of the new 3 CD Led Zeppelin live set, titled, "How The West Was Won," as well as a double DVD of live material! The CD is comprised of recordings from the Los Angeles Forum, June 25, 1972 and Long Beach Arena, June 27, 1972.
The DVD is set to include footage from The Royal Albert Hall 1970, Earl's Court 1975, and Knebworth 1979, as well as outtakes from The Song Remains The Same. Amazon.com is now taking pre-orders for the CD HERE and the DVD HERE.

Over the next few months, we will be celebrating the 30th Anniversary of the release of the classic 'Houses of the Holy' album, released on March 28, 1973, and the US tour that same year, in which the 'Song Remains The Same' movie was filmed.
