Happy New Year to the best group of band members ever!! Thanks again for the wonderful time at the Whiskey. I just wish it was all your music that night. What a disappointment having to wait for such a great band while we were entertained by less than honorable bands amateur bands (In comparison to you guys). Well, the wait was worth it. Sorry my husband and I missed you guys in San Juan. Hope to see you in San Diego at the HOB.
wow was i blown away by your performance at the the grove because you guys actually played when the levee breaks...man that was fantastic!!!! i had such a good time some little kid called me crazy because i was just in the zone...oh yea and the battle of evermore job well done...cant wait to see you guys again...cheers and continue to live out an escape to great music...
Thanks for another awesome night. You guys rocked my world once more. Thanks Steve for the pic! I hope to see you at the Whiskey this New Year's Eve(presuming that there are tickets still available).
That was an awesome concert. Thanks for all the fun!!! I really enjoyed this one the best out of all your concerts because you guys played all of my favorite songs of the past. I am a true fan and really appreciate your awesome talent.
What a fun night getting to hear two of my favorite bands honored that evening; Yes and Zeppelin. Had fun chatting with Roundabouts guitarist Johnny, learning thats he'd recently jammed with Alan White and Steve Howe...how cool. Like many i pledged alliegance to Zeppelin back in the day but over the years i thought maybe i'd gotten most of the led out. But seeing you guys live is something special, and i'm reminded of how great they were, and just how timeles their music truly is. It was so fun rocking out with a 'classic' crowd and swapping wonderous stories. I was talking to this Mexican dude from TJ that came over here when he was 12 to see Zep play at the sports arena in the 70's for 35 bucks. Said it was worth the butt whipping his mom gave him when he got home late. Another dude said he saw Zep in the 70's and that you guys sounded better; i don't doubt it. Also, i just heard Zeppelin is gonna be touring without Plant and i wonder if Swan has gotten a call...i hope so. Thanks again for doing what you do, art
Sat, Oct 25th, I saw you play for the first time at Santa Fe Springs swap meet. I just want to say that you guys ROCK!!!!! You brought back a lot of childhood memories for me, as well as my boyfriend. Looking forward to seeing you play at future gigs.
hey Zepagain, You guys Rocked the swapmeet out again, I remember seeing you for the 1st time in 06 at this same venue when you (Swan)dedicated "stairway to heaven" for a young lady who's father had just passed-away,that was truely a touching moment on your part, well I met that young lady at this past Saturday's show and we became friends, thanx to your great music. Continued success and keep on Rocking hard! a fan 4 life...John
I've seen you guys a few times before, but on Saturday (10/25) you totally nailed it. Unfortunately, I never had the chance to see Zep live, you guys and the next best thing!!!! Thanks...see ya soon!
Once again you guys were GREAT,AWESOME,OUTSTANDING!What a great show,THANK YOU...I always look forward to you guys coming to Folsom. Led Zeppelin is my all time favorite band and I never got to see them live in concert. So being able to hear their songs played live is a dream come true.I always bring new friends to the shows and they were blown away tonight. They loved you guys! Can't wait till the next time your here!Be safe in your travels and take care...
You guys really blew me away!! You ROCKED all of my favorit ZEP songs. I am definitely a fan & will see you guys again. One thing.. I was so impressed by how accurate you were w/ all of the instruments & dress of the period ('77). I was put off a bit by the "nurses" shirt that Swan wore. I thought Bob Plant wore more of a tight button-down polyester shirt. I learned from reading this board, though, that he did wear a similar shirt. Guess I stand corrected. SEE YOU GUYS AT ANOTHER VENUE SOON!! ROCK ON!! (Thanks, glad you enjoyed it! CLICK HERE for a pic of Robert in the "Nurses" shirt - Zepagain)
Well first things first, Susan wrote a review and said that the show was good. I have to disagree and say the show was great!!!!! And all of the songs were my favorites, all done to perfection! Ya hear that guys I said it again! and this time I am sober, hee, hee. Your renditions of Zeppelin are perfect! There was a time when all I wanted was Zeppelin to have a reunion tour, and now I don't even care anymore, there I said it! I never thought those words would come out of my mouth. But every time I see you guy's perform I truly feel like I am at a Zeppelin show. Every time I know that you guy's are coming to town, I try to get more and more people to the show. I know that you guy's have alot of Die hard fans out there that come to the shows. I hope that they will read this review, because I would like to challenge all of them to see how many people they can get to the show. Lets keep Led Zepagain coming back!! I always feel it is a privilage to promote this band that it is keeping Zeppelin alive! Thanks for the great time, great music, I can't wait till the next time. Maybe LA on the 22nd? Hmm.....sounds like a road trip to me. Thanks, Karen (Sure, sounds like a road trip to us! Thanks Karen! - Zepagain)
I seen you guys three times at House of Blues in San Diego, and i must say you guys rock. It's amazing how spot on you look and play the songs. Keep up the good work !!
after reading the review of Jerry Brucks, I totally agree with him, I just want you to add as a first time Led Zepagain concert attendee, your band just convert me in to your fan, so original your show that will wait for your next concert to see you guys again. when I saw Swan with that blue T-shirt (the nurses one) my first tough was that's Robert Plant T-shirt and have to confirm this tought and yes I found the picture of Plant's wearing the same color of T-shirt.i knew i saw that picture when I was kid back in the 70's after the show I just couldn't beleive that I been witness of one of the best concert I have attended (which are quite many) and always will remember this night. thanks (Thanks Victor, glad you liked the show! Robert wore that shirt in Oakland, July 23, 1977. It was the next to last US show they ever played, and Steve, our guitarist, was there! - Zepagain)
POWERHOUSE PUB SHOW WAS GOOD. BEST SONGS PLAYED: SONG REMAINS THE SAME TANGERINE LEVEE BREAKS DANCIN' DAYS GUITARIST IS INCREDIBLE... WHOLE BAND ROCKS... SEE YA AT PHOUSE NEXT TIME !!!
OH MY GOD!!!!! I've been a Zeppelin fan since I was 13 and I would sneek into my older brother's room to listen to Houses of the Holy. I actually got to see Zep in 1977 at the L.A. forum when I was seventeen. Now that I'm 'old', I've had the extreme pleasure of seeing Led Zepagain many times. This wasn't the craziest show that I've seen, that one was at Fishlips in Bakersfield,(I'll write that review later, I promise), but this was the BEST show by far. Don't get me wrong, all of their shows have been incredible. Everytime my wife and I see the lads, we are always in the front row standing right in front of Steve. It's a little less crazy than trying to stand in front of Swan. But in order to accurately review the show we stood in the back, right in front of the "light dude", to simulate where my seat was at the forum. On to the show: The crowded venue is buzzing with the anticipation of the show. As the music gets louder and the lights dim, the people start to go a little crazy even before the curtain opens. The curtain finally opens, and we are treated to a virtual feast for our eyes. From the giant poster on the back of the stage reminding us that we were soon going to be transported to 1977, to the main video screen behind the stage to the exact attire that I remember the band wearing, (well almost exact since Swan was still offstage), I knew this was going to be special. As in 1977, The lads immediately launched into "The Song Remains the Same." Steve's new clothes looked perfect. Jim an Jimmer were dressed the same way that they always dress, which is by no means a complaint. (If you don't know which one's Jim and which one's Jimmer and which one's Pink,(Sorry, but I like those guys a little bit, too), just think of the actual band members, John and Johner.) I know that Jimmy wrote the song and is awesome on the guitar, but Steve sounds like two guys playing. The fans are already in a frenzy when Swan runs on stage and told us all about a crazy dream that he had. This is where I notice that not all band members are dressed like the real guys in 1977. Swan had on a blue t-shirt that said "Nurses do it better", And because my memory is so accurate, I knew the while Plant's shirt had the exact same message on it, it wasn't blue, it was pink. (See above for the answer to which one's pink?) Actually, I got the shirt. This was Zepagain's first time playing the 1977 Concert, not counting the dry? run in Tijuana. Swan was more interested in showing us Plant in the 70's, than showing us Swan in 2008.He acted like Plant and sounded like Plant, but didn't have to dress like Plant. Like i've said before,"Swan sounds like Plant, and yet, he also sounds like swan." Or maybe he was tired of all of the girls grabbing at him. No, that was at Fishlips, but I digress. Without stopping, the lads dove into "The Rover". Since I'd already seen the show (31 years ago), I knew that it was an intro to "Sick Again".("one day soon you're gonna reach sixteen..."). Immediately, and I mean without coming up for air, they play "Nobody's Fault But Mine. I love the way Steve waves to the audience just like jimmy used to do. I can tell that while these guys are ALWAYS great, tonight they are on fire. It's almost like we were all taken back to years ago in days of old when magic filled the air, except that Gollum wasn't invited to the show. To quote from Almost Famous, "Steve's guitar playing is incendiary...INCENDIARY!" The light show and the video show was definitely not authentic. It was actually 100 times better than back in 77. Kudos to the light man and the sound/video man for completely awesome work during the entire show. Now I'm getting really excited because while I remember these first three songs that Zeppelin played, along with a few others, (I did not inhale. That's my story and I'm sticking to it!), I realize that I have no idea what's gonna be played next. Oh yeah, now I remember, Zeppelin played "In My time of Dying", and then played "Since I've Been Loving You". The band pulled off both songs perfectly, sounding just like Zeppelin. If you haven't heard Zepagain play this song as "Zepagain", go to Captain Ron and Lady Joy's web site to download an MP3 of the song. Next, Swan asks us if we'd like to go to the mystical side of Zep. What else can they play next except "No Quarter?" Actually, a lot of songs, but I digress again. The next song is one of my favorite Zepagain songs because I love watching Jim play guitar and bass pedals at the same time on "Ten Years Gone". Although, tonight I couldn't watch him so closely. Hey! Give some else a chance to be in the front row! We now journey to the acoustical side of Zeppelin. The small chairs are brought out and we get to enjoy "The Battle of Evermore", "Going to California" and "Black Country Woman/Bron-Yr-Aur Stomp. (Two quick points: 1. Although Jim does sing the song much better than John Paul, Nobody does it like Sandy Denny. We all miss her. 2. Even though Bron-Yr-Aur Stomp is about Robert's dog, Strider, (Or is it Aragorn?), My wife and I take it to be our song about us, except for the part about "messing 'round them brick walls". How about a little "White Summer/Black Mountain Side" next. By now the audience doesn't know what to expect, and the lads surprise us all by playing one of he most obscure songs in the entire Led Zeppelin catalog. It's a song called "Kashmir", and I'm not sure if many of the fans have ever heard it before. I know that I haven't. "Note to self: Maybe I did inhale something." Back to reality, sorry! Zepagain actually plays Kashmir better than Zeppelin plays it. There, I said it. Please don't try to kill me. Since we already heard Robert's love song to his dog, it's time for John Henry's love song to his cars. This concert is now officially Over The Top. Speaking of which, it was a joy to hear Jimmer perform an awesome non Moby Dick drum solo. And when it ended with the end of "Moby Dick", I was blown away again!!! Steve's Bow Solo could only have been better if he was surrounded by green lasers while he was doing his thing. I'm not gonna say that I was blown away yet again; it's starting to sound trite, but, did I mention that in the word of Chris Farley,(We miss him, too!), the lights were "AWESOME!!!" What could possibly be next? Trivia time: What song is Jimmy Page's and my wife's favorite Led Zeppelin son? Answer: Achilles Last Stand! If you watch Jimmy perform the song on "How the West was Won", you'll notice that Steve handles the guitar solo much better. But I do like the way that Jimmy ends the song better with his slow gait up the stage during the end of the song. But Hey!, Steve is recreating the '77 show, and Jimmy was too _____ to do it that way. I know that some people aren't used to an actual Zeppelin concert,(almost 3 hours by this point), and they're wondering, "Are these guys ever gonna play our favorite song?" You know the one, Something about a stairway. Well so as not to disappoint the many radio fans who think that the entire Zep catalog consists of 5 songs, 1. Stairway to Heaven 2.Over the Hills and Far Away 3. D'Yer Mak'er 4. Kashmir and 5. Whole Lotta Love, The band ends the show with a "Song of Hope". By now the lads must be getting tired. Hell, they're as old as I am, and I'm getting tired. Time for a quick encore. DON'T YOU BELIEVE IT! They rip into a high enery version of "Whole Lotta Love and during the end of the midlle, you know, right before the Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaay dowwwwwwwn in siiiiiiide part, They jump into a song that's "been a long time since" we've heard. That actual 1977 show was 3 hours and fifty minutes long. Which was, to be completely honest, about an hour too much. Half of the audience was out buying beer and going to the bathroom during Jimmy's 30 minute solo and people almost got killed in the rush to get back in there when out of the blue, Kashmir started. I timed the show last night and wasn't too surprised to find the length to be 2 hours and fifty minutes. I don't have time to talk about Fred Astaire, as well as all of the other excellent video work. What can I say? You guys rock!!! Jim and Jimmer continually keep things grounded while Steve and Swan continually keep things flying. Your fan, Jer P.S While I love Zepagain, I LOVE Zeppelin!!! P.P.S When Swan made fun of Steve talking more than Jimmy, I thought, "Come on Swan. Cut the guy some slack. I've seen Zepagain 30? times and Steve hardly ever gets to talk. P.P.S. I was kinda hoping you guys would play "Freebird". (Wow, thanks for the great review, Jerry! But Robert's shirt was blue, not pink, and yes, that was a green laser around Steve! - Zepagain)
Wow Led Zepagain's shows at the House of Blues-Hollywood and the Beach Festival at Hermosa Beach were fantastic and energizing!!! Lately Led Zepagain have been performing at various shows around the country coming back to So California for the much anticipated Jackfest blockbuster at Pala Casino. Boy Pala really puts a huge show together featuring many bands of all types with the crown jewel Led Zepagain!!! Well they got straight to business with "Good Times the Bad Times", "Nobodys Fault but Mine" knocking the place out of the gate!!! I had the pleasure of sitting next to a gentleman who was blind and seemed aquainted to good old fashion Rock and Roll jumped out of his seat and grooved to "Kashimir" and called out "Stairway to Heaven" which he got soon afterward!! Steve Zukowsky, Jim Wootten, Jim Kersey and especially Swan Montgomery work really hard to put together a show that is outstanding and memorable!! I can't Thank the Band enough for all there efforts to bring enjoyment to many fans from many places!!! Well off to Paladino's in Reseda which we will bring our family and friends from work who want to see what we are talking about! This venue has the potential and enviroment to be a great show so folks don't miss it every show has a different set...see you there!!
my husband and I saw you at Pala last night and we were blown away! You guys are great! I called my brother in law who is a huge Led Zeppelin fan and told him to check you guys out!! You guys are great!! Can't wait to see you again!
Came with a big group, most of whom had seen you many times before and a couple that hadn't yet, and that's where the fun begins! Watching their shock, awe and giant smiles grow on their faces as they experience your magnificence for the first time is always a blast for us! Thanks for yet another fabulous show. Always so wonderful to see all of you!!!
I went to see you at Thunder In The Rockies in Loveland, Colorado and was rocking out to your awesome sounds.....WOW and then the rain came..I was so bummed. Please come back to the Rally next year!!!! Or anywhere in Colorado!!!
Well, I ve seen this band two times now. I saw the real Led Zeppelin in June of 1977 at the Los Angeles Forum during one of their unprecedented 5 or 6 show performances, I was thirteen. Keith Moon joined them on stage if I m not mistaken. Earlier this year when I finally had the opportunity to see Led Zepagain, I was told that I might see something magical, I did! All I can tell you is that these guys are as close to the real deal as any tribute band that I have ever seen and most likely, anyone will ever see! The Van Halen tribute band known as the Atomic Punks are a close second and are equally as good in their own right. Like the Punks, I don t believe that the members of Led Zepagain think they are Zep but without a doubt, they know how to keep the music of their idols alive. As a Zep diehard , Zepagain made me feel as if I was at the Forum in 1977 all over again, but this time it sounded as if Jimmy was actually playing in tune!!! Out of the two venues I ve had the pleasure to see them, my favorite for sure is Lake Arrowhead, CA. Saw them in Hermosa yesterday and it was great to see them there, but the crowd was weak to start, Swan mentioned it. Sound was ok, not great but nonetheless, it was a pleasure to see these guys again! Please come back to Arrowhead and Hermosa!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Kevin and Marcy
I took my 15 year old son to the Fiesta Hermosa to watch Led Zepagain. I had never seen them before and we both really enjoyed the show. These guys did an outstanding job; they were loud, fun, and acted decent on-stage, which is a big plus to those of us who are parents. Thank You very much to such a great group!
We just saw you guys again at Fishlips in Bakersfield! It was one kickass show! We had a few friends join us to see you this time and just like us now they are diehard fans! Cant wait until you come to the central valley again!!! Whenever/whereever WE"LL BE THERE!!!!
Just saw you guys last Saturday night at Fishlips! Once again, you guys are AWESOME! I saw you last year at the Nile and got hooked! I plan on catching you all again the next time I can and maybe bring the kids to an all ages show! Keep up the good work, and keep wielding the Hammer of the Gods!
This show at Fishlips in Bakersfield was much anticipated from what I here was only the 2nd time Led Zepagain has performed there (first time the Nile Theater).First I would like to Thank La Grange (ZZ Top Tribute) they did a great job setting the table and getting everyone in the mood, we will definatly make a point to see them again. Most of the fans in attendance have never seen Led Zepagain and had no idea of what to expect!! I could't help but laugh explaining they were in for a treat!!!The band came out and nailed it and everybody went wild! They must have played over 2 hours and still had plenty left. Everybody enjoyed the show and were pumped up in disbelief by the quality of the music played before them as a whole!! We have that feeling everytime we see them....these guys are incredibly good!! I have told most the people around us just wait till they break out the acoustic instruments...well they will have to come to another show!!! Fishlips and the fans in Bakersfield are very knowledgeable, friendly and kind!!! It was a wonderful time and we can't wait to come back soon!!!See you all soon!!!
Hi Guys my husband and I saw you last night at fish lips and you were great this was the 2nd time to see you. Loved you show. Thank you for being so good.
Speechless as usual! You know, trying to tell anyone about your shows is like the old lyrics "well it's like tryin' to tell a stranger about a - rock and roll - do you believe in Magic!" My dear friend Lori - you are A LOT OF FUN! (hope you read this, and I know it's not an email exchange site) However, 19 drinks later my top mission was to find a phone to call a cab! I'm on the calendar for soon!! How about Long Beach!?? I very much hope to see all the band guys beforehand to say hello, and friends and family!
I saw your show at the M-33 Access gig in Rose City, and to be honest I did not know what to expect. I will tell you gentlemen that I was completely blown away. The best concert I have ever been to, and you nailed every thing about their music. I have several of the live Zeppelin cd's, and it was like listening to them, but this time I was there! Thanks again for coming to Michigan, you guys were freakin awesome! I will see you again!
Been trying to see you guys for years and finally did it and twice in less than a week! Always heard how great you were and the rumors were more than true! Two great shows, two different sets of songs and one new fan of yours. Tried to make it to Santa Fe Springs on July 12 but didn't work out. I am a 51 year old classic rock fan who grew up with Led Zep but never got to see them live, that is until seeing your amazing shows. I took my two daughters 16 and 20 to the Chino show and they loved it. We got there an hour and a half early so that we could be at the very front. I spoke to your drummer, Jim Kersey before the show and just wanted to say thanks for being so gracious and taking the time to speak with me. You guys are fantastic, your shows left me feeling like I just saw the real Led Zep and can't wait to see you in concert again! Thank you for keeping the great music alive!
Hey man,Thanks for making our day! I dunno how you "jet" from Mn. and pull off a great set in the city of Chino ca.I was there an hour early and met with the rest of the early fans just to chat about LedZepagain. I am retired from the music business, and enjoy your drive everytime you preform which is why I continue to get to your gigs over and over agsin you guys are hot!
I have been a die-hard Zep fan since I was 13!! (Now almost 40!) & my husband & I have seen your band numerous times & each time you guys ROCK!!! Thank you SO much for keeping Zep alive, we will keep supporting Zepagain!!! Can't wait 2 see you guys again!!!! Aymee & Cesar
Fellow Rockers: I have been a die-hard Led Zeppelin fan since 1969, when I turned 16, and was "turned on" to rock music by the amazing, and innovative, sounds generated by what I still believe is the greatest rock band there ever was - Led Zeppelin. I have seen Led Zeppelin live many times over the years, and although it has been over 30 years since I last saw them perform, I believe the music, and the spirit, of Led Zeppelin lives on in the current members of Led Zepagain. I attended your concert at the San Diego County Fair in Del Mar on July 4th, and in my mind, from vast experience seeing the "real" Led Zeppelin perform, your performances captured the essence of a real Led Zeppelin concert, and are the closest thing I think most of us will ever come again to the spectacle that was a Led Zeppelin concert. Many thanks for your hard work, musicianship, and dedication to keeping the music of Led Zeppelin alive, for old and new fans alike.
I saw you guys for the first time at the SD Fair on the 4th of July...I have been a Zeppelin fan since I was 13, grade school, and I swore I was going to marry Robert Plant ((HA))...you are amazing! Thank you for making me feel as if I FINALLY saw my band LIVE IN PERSON!
couldn't ask for a better opening for you! fireworks than ZEPAGAIN! this was our gazillenth show, it was nice to see all the young people enjoying the music we grew up with... "to late" for going to california???? haha :))) never to late to take a load off and sit down for the acoustic set. ;) looking forward to your tribute to the 1977 tour at the h.o.b. in october! p.s. did they play the mandolin on that tour??? (Yep, they sure did! - Zepagain)
Hey guys- What a show!!! You all seem to get better every time I see you. This time I brought along about 10 people, ages 15 to 58- and they all loved you, and they aren't Led Zeppelin nuts like my son John & I are. They just saw a great band put on a great show with great music. "Hots on for Nowhere" was great- great attitude about playing it too. Second time you've played a request for me or my family- "Fool in the Rain"- HOB S.D.- last year. Makes going to your shows even more special than it already is. Thanks for helping my son have a great birthday!
My Beloved Boys, What a bitchin' time I had on Friday!!! I actually liked the Randy Rhodes band that went on first. :) But of course, I was there to see you rock out hard. It had been a few weeks since my last Zepagain gig and I was in need of my Zep dose. On my drive back home, I had to pull over three times so I could snooze because it was such a long drive back and I was so exhausted after the show. But it was all well worth it! Lyle, it was good running into you again. You disappeared on us without a trace, but we still had a blast with you. Zepagain, congratulations on the new t-shirts!!! I will definitely be wearing it proudly. Now my friends won't grow so bored of me wearing the same Zepagain t-shirt over and over... they shall grow bored of seeing me with TWO Zepagain shirts!!! Your set this evening was tight. Thanks for playing Bron-Yr-Stomp.... that song really gets me going and the whole place was in an uproar. Also, a mega-bow-down thank you for DAZED AND CONFUSED!!!! I will love that song 'till the day I die! I'm very excited about all of the upcoming gigs you guys have lined up for the summer! With love, your fan with 100 + shows, --L. :)
I am late posting this but its worth it. Woah! You guys were great. Lets start with "Robert Plant"-Excellent vocals, nailed all the high notes, well done and cute baby. "Jimmy Page"-Very good guitar player first of all. Youve gotta be to mimic Pageys work. But my fave thing in his performance is that he did little Jimmy Page dance moves and sweeping arm movements, just a perfect touch. We all know you guys arent the real Led Zeppelin but those small touches are part of the trip. Thanks. "JPJ"-Very good bass player. Ramble on and Immigrant Song are HARD. You are a very good musician. Your smile the whole time was a happiness magnet. Probably a nice man. "Bonzo"-Wow, very capable drummer. Great Hair! Some moments of Bonham style bass drum action was impressive. (Real Zep fans hear thatstuff and love it.) My 2 fave things were the cool selection of songs.ie Your Time is Gonna Come. and The Levy. and this is cool, all the teenage boys in the audience who chanted " Achilles Last Stand!" There were a lot of teenage musicians paying more than the usual attention to you guys. Also, great costumes. Well done. Thank you for making one of the funnest days of my life.
One word....WOW!!! This was your second stop here in this beautiful setting. I have seen both years. I have to say this was the best. I too can top that by saying, this was the best show I have seen here. That includes all the bands. Your partnership with the crowd was great. Two encores, WOW!! I have seen your show many times throughout so.Cal and this venue suits you the best. The crowd had a murmer brewing the weeks prior up to your show. They would come into my business which is located 4 shops from the stage and ask questions. We heard, can't wait, seen them before, love Led Zep.heard they do it justice etc. I can say I have not seen the chairs and blankets over that large area for any show. The cool thing about catching a show here is that it is FREE!! That along with it being outdoors and gazing up into the sky when you play one of those deep in thought songs, and see the pines. That makes you forget anything and everything that has been disturbing lately. Just good music, beautiful scenery. What more could we ask for? Thnak you for coming up here to Beautiful Lake Arrowhead. I wish we could have an encore show again this year. Our fall season is a beautiful time of the year, hint hint!!Please think about it. Thank you again for this wonderfull show.
these guys are incredible just close your eyes and get blown away. hope that they come to new york city. thanks
What a spectacular venue to have a show at a beautiful Lake Arrowhead in the middle of the forest... WOW. The people were very nice and having a ball. And from what MANY people were saying, it was one of the most PACKED shows of the year. Led Zepagain came on at 5:30pm and played not one set, but two, and not one encore, but two encores!!! I have to really take my hat off to Swan Montgomery, he gave us all one inspiring show which we will never soon forget. Then Swan introduced the 5th member of the band; Finn Montgomery's debut at only 8 weeks old... Very cool!!! Then Swan promptly tapped his harmonica and took off with "When the Levee Breaks" which floored the audience. He also went back to the harmonica and played HIS song "Nobody's Fault But Mine"!!! Incredible... I mean I have seen him do that song many times and it's no less amazing than the first time. Steve Zukowsky was sizzling and those people standing on his side of the stage had the best seat in the house watching him dissect each song and throwing his own flair and style into it. "Heartbreaker" and "Good Times, Bad Times" totally awesome!!! The acoustic jams were killer with "Your Time is Gonna Come" and fan favorite "Going to California" both Jim Wootten and the Flying Zukowsky with Swan the man in the middle!!! Jim Kersey then kicked it up with "Moby Dick Dick Dick" and the crowd couldn't contain itself. Steve opened the 2nd set with "Song Remains the Same" and just cooked...Red Hot got the crowd started again Zepagain style... YES. The encores were three terrific songs: "Communication Breakdown", "The Ocean" and in the finale "Immigrant Song" blew everybody away!!! I am obviously a fan but many people were walking away in disbelief at what they have witnessed. Many first timers commonly talked about just how TALENTED these guys are!!! Folks get out there and see a show... Every one is different and unique. This is the some of the best music the Rock world has known and to see it played live... It's a real treat!!! Well, until next time.......
Hi Guys!! The past saturday (Jun 07 2008) I spend one of the best nights of my life with your show in the Hard Rock Live in México City. All you guys are incredible musicians, and your work is amazing!! For moments, I can imagine that i was seeing the original Zeppelin!!!I was there with my wife and my 22 years old son, and we all have had a great time with LED ZEPPAGAIN. Many thanks for come to México, and 1,0000000000 of congratulations, because you have done a very, very professional musical work!!!! LED ZEPPAGAIN sounds and looks like the ZEPPELIN. this is my rate: ( on a scale of 0 to 10) Guitar: 11 Bass & Keyboards: 11 Drums: 11 voice: 11 Image of the group: 11 My total satisfaction with your performance: 20 Thanks again and keep'on with your musical work!! Please: come more often to México City!!!
It was a Awesome show as always. And there were a lot of new comers at the show and your fans were saying " what a great tribute band Led Zepagain was" , You didn't diappoint. The people around me were yelling, swaying and having a great time. Thank you for all your hard work and dedication
What can I say -- another stellar show at the HOB on May 25th. The place was packed. The crowd was quiet initially and I know that is frustrating to the four of you. It's not because the crowd wasn't into your performance, and you know that. I was in the middle on the floor and I can tell you, the people around me were just in awe, taking it all in. The hook of the night was Bron-Y-Aur Stomp. After that, people just went nuts. The finale of Heartbreaker-Whole Lotta Love-Rock 'n Roll was awesome. I was a little disappointed that you didn't circle back to finish WLL, but I am greedy and wanted to hear it all! :-) I hope to make it up to Lake Arrowhead but, if not, I will definitely be seeing you at Crash Mansion! Cheers!
Thank you for another INCREDIBLE performance at the House of Blues in Anaheim! No matter how many times I experience your shows, I'm always left speechless and in disbelief. You're quite possibly the best tribute band in the world, and your shows are such an enjoyable celebration of Led Zeppelin. Thanks again!
Great show in Tijuana!!! My wife and I were there and you guys really rocked the house. We had a great time and it was an honor to have been there for it. We drove from Montebello, CA and it was worth it!! keep on Rockin...
I enjoyed you the First time I saw you wow I Felt Sixteen all over again, and then last night at The House of Blues - Anaheim WOW You Guys Rock I truly loved it. I'll be watching for the upcoming events. Thank you so much your Friend and Fan, Cynthia
I just got home from your gig @ TJ's Tia Juana Tilly's and i'm still amazed at what a wonderful show it was. I can easily say that this is the best show i ever been to. Congrats to all of you my friends and i hope this is not the last time i see you live @ TJ. Best regards. You guys rock (and roll).
Another great show as always!! The house was a rockin, Tangerine was awesome Swan's vocals were dead on, Steve's Guitar playing was... perfect! Jim's Keyboard and bass was also dead on, and of course Jim Kersey's drumming unbelievable! You guy's together is just perfection. I was listening to 98 rock here in Sacramneto and apparently some of the guy's from the radio station caught the show, and were saying how it was unbelievable, and if you have never seen Led-Zepagain, you have to see them the next time that they are in Sacramento. They said it was like going to a Zeppelin concert and that you had to see it to believe it!! Something that I have said all along! Thanks again guys for making the trip to Sacramento, I can't wait for the next show!
You guys were great tonight, as always...we four totally enjoyed ourselves. Awesome being up front at the stage with Steves guitar close enough to touch ! You are Zeppelin reincarnated ! Can't wait to see you again in August, right? Thx for the pic Steve - to give to my 13 year old son, Michael who is just learning electric guitar !
I missed the show at the HOB San Diego because friends of mine came into town begging me to go see UFO at the Key Club on Friday so I relent (excellent show) but I told them only if the come with me to Ventura on Saturday and they were blown away!!!!They found out quick this is just not another tribute band these guys GOT SKILL and SOUL. Swan is always outstanding and really impressed the newbees with the acoustic set with his choreography. All those guys saw the video's and they said he was right on. Steve did a great job as always and threw a little extra into Trampled Underfoot to an enthusiastic crowd. Jim Wooten as usual is nailing it with Good Times Bad Times. Many people wanted Moby Dick which I told them you need to come AGAIN Jim Kersey is awesome. After I got to take a walk on the beach and reflect all the good vibes....great venue...great crowd!!! I had people call me this week and told me they saw the 2 second snipit of Zepagain on the Hollywood Park advertisment which I also saw...very cool You guys are the best see you at Hollywood Park. Hey Hey what can I do!!!
Incredible show I've been a fan of the music since 1970 which is mind boggling beause I was born in 1983. Those vocals...damn, they go under my skin and that guitar...geez...feels like being inside a beautiful woman and shes going from soft soothing moans to clenched teeth and pulling my hair. The band all together, the music, its in my heart and it'll never go away thanx for doing what you guys do. I'll catch you guys later and probably recording the whole show on my cell again. :) With much love and respect! -Rick
WOW>>>What a great show you all put on last saturday nite..thank you so very much for comming up to porthuneme..I live in Ventura and brought both of my boys and girlfriend. We all had a really great evening and i have been watching you for the past 6yrs and yes you seem to get better all the time...like thats even possible..It would be nice to see you at the Majestic theater if ever possible, Thanks again for ROCKEN my world....Q-Z
Gentlemen, thank you so much for another smoking hot show at Santa Fe Springs swap meet! It s amazing to watch how many people drop their shopping bags and come running when the music begins. We were treated to over 3 and 1/2 hours of the best music ever created, for the paltry fee of one dollar. As hot as it was, you guys never lost your energy to perform in top notch fashion through the entire 3 sets. I had a lot of fun partying up close to the stage (as usual), this time with Lyle, Lori and Chryss. It s always great to spot familiar faces from previous shows and share the smiles and energy with each other. I spoke to several first timers who we ll be seeing at future shows. They were wearing some mighty big grins! Congratulations to Swan and Tara on your new addition! May you all be blessed. You are welcome Lori. Sorry it took so long to get delivered. Just think of it as a personal insulin kit, for when you just gotta have a Zepagain fix! I m looking forward to your August show in Signal Hill, although June may very well find me at Lake Arrowhead. Got my fingers crossed for another Grove show sometime soon, I love that place. Sorry there wasn t much time afterwards to chat. I wanted to mention to you all, Patrick s band was one of several that opened for Sabbat at the Whisky on April 17th. It was a blast watching him jam on the same stage shared by so many incredible performers, including the awesome Led Zepagain. Thank you again for doing what you all do so well. May all your shows be filled with a Whole Lotta Love. Rich, Patrick and Victoria Myers
Lyle, don't forget that your beer was not the only casualty that day. One of mine got swept away in the storm as well. A tough moment indeed.... But it's nobody's fault but mine for having placed them there.... that's what happens when you try to stock up in between sets so that you don't have to break away from the stage and miss a beat during the show. Boys, you guys are a true testament to musicianship. Whether it's rain or snow, mega-blazing heat or arctic breeze, you guys still put on a bitchin' show. I kept looking to the sides and checking to see if an EMT was around, cuz the place was burning down. Yet you guys were cool as ever. Thank you for playing Dancing Days, HMMT, Trampled, What Is and What Should Never Be... umm, my memory is really limited to the first set, vague by the 2nd and damn gone by the 3rd. But I KNOW I had an amazing time. It was good rocking out with Lyle. Rich, thank you so much for that beautiful gift and the printed message. If you were any sweeter, I'd be in diabetic shock. On to the next adventure, SAN DIEGO!
Not just WOW!, but WOW WOW!! To review: front row with Lori and Rich, nearly 4 hours of all 5 senses trying to absorb Led Zepagain (yes that was my beer that spilled on the stage).....the only words I can come up with are: It's Monday and I'm still there! I can't stand remotely close to still when you're playing ANYTHING! Why WOULD I? It's just the most fun - although difficult to watch all 4 of you at the same time! Your shows....well the words that come to mind are; ya just got to LOVE THAT!! Thanks to all of you, just plain thanks! PLEASE keep up the good work!
This concert was SOO awesome! I love Led Zepagain! I really appreciate the fact that you guys continue to keep alive Led Zeppelin's amazing music, and you guys do an extraordinary job! I am a very big fan of yours! <3 By the way... I purchased 2 tickets to their show and now unfortunately, I won t be able to make it due to other things that came up. So, now I am selling them, $20 off the entire cost of the tickets. Venue: House of Blues-Anaheim Date: May 25th, 2008 (Sunday) Time: 8pm General Admission Anyways, below is the link with all the detailed info about the event. If you have any questions feel free to ask! By the way, shipping is free. =) Below is the link: EBAY LINK Thanks for the rockin' music!
Amazing sound, amazing presence badass feel altogether. I went to your show alone cause a few of my friends were skeptical about seeing a tribute band. I caught a bit of your show on my cell phone and showed it off to a few people here and there. I felt so damn proud to do so I had a smile on my face as others watched you guys on my phone. :) I showed my girlfriend and she really liked it we'll be seeing you guys on Saturday at Santa Fe Springs Swapmeet. Later!
Hey Boys!!! My hats off to you for another wildly exciting gig. Thank you for playing THANK YOU!!!! Holy shit, I just about cried from excitement because it's been so long since we last heard that one from you. Another wonderful surprise was IN THE EVENING.... Steve, I appreciate it when you take time out to correct technical issues going on with your equipment. We're not happy unless you're happy, LOL! Swan, CONGRATULATIONS on the birth of your boy!!! Blessings to you, Tara and Finn. Also, all of the opening bands were great, but Danny's band, La Grange was completely OFF THE HOOK!!!! Can't wait to see them open up for you again at the HOB of San Diego! XOXOXO to you all, --L. :) p.s. -- Please play "NO EFFEN QUARTER" in San Diego, hahaha. p.p.s. - a little Dazed and Confused wouldn't hurt nobody in San diego either! :)
This is a shout out to the fans that had attended the Whiskey March 29 show Zepagain flat came out and Rocked the house from beginning to end and were terrific and the crowd was into it. My point is if this was the first time seeing the band and enjoyed it, you REALLY REALLY NEED to come out to another show so you can experience there acoustic/mandolin songs such as "Going to California","Thats the Way" and the always crowd pleasing "Bron-Y-Ur-Stomp" as example!! There is SO Much Music I have never seen Zepagain play the same sets which makes every show unique and exciting. Sometimes they will throw the hilarous Rockabilly "Hotdog" at you which is a lot of fun but rarely played. In short come see Zepagain play at Paldinos, Santa Fe Springs and or The House of Blues each night is distinguishing and special...see you there!!!Hey Hey What Can I Do
Friends and I went to see the show at PALA on Saturday the 5th. We have been to the venue many times in the past but we have never seen it like this, it was packed to capacity with folks standing outside to listen to the music. The show was awesome as always and the band was hot and rocking the house down. If you wanted to get anywhere near the stage it was standing room only. Swan was shaking all he had, as were the ladies and gentlemen dancing where they stood. The acoustic set had the people clapping and stomping their feet and they all enjoyed the sweeeet mandolin picking from Jim Wooten. The crowd went wild over Jimmy Kersey s drum solo and were completely mesmerized by Steve s guitar virtuosity from beginning to end. Hell of a show guys, come back real soon so we can get some more Led in San Diego county.
I have never seen a poor performance by Led Zepagain but every once in a while you get one that out classes the standard show. It was easy to see the band was psyched for playing there for the first time. During the opening three songs, ROCK AND ROLL, HEARTBREAKER, LIVING LOVING MADE Zukowsky was on fire and the rest of the band was right there with him. There was no let up through the rest of the show. The venue was nice and even though at capacity still very comfortable. Lots of new people in the house seeing Zepagain for the first time and you know it won't be their last. Ramble on, Mark 224
I saw you guys at the Pala Casino show last night and my friends and I were absolutely blown away. Covering a band like Zeppelin is a hard act to follow but you guys were unbeleiveable. You were so close to the real thing, we couldn't beleive how tight you were. It was one of the funnest and most enjoyable shows that I have been to in a long time. We hope to se you again soon.
This was the 2nd time I saw you in concert, first time about 4 years ago at House of Blues in Anaheim. Greatly enjoyed the Pala Casino concert tonight. It put me back into my high school years, 8 track tapes, when a 1/4 lb. hamburger, fries, and a coke was 99 cents, when I used to listen to 94.7 the Mighty Met (KMET)on the radio in Los Angeles, working on one of my many projects in my garage. Congratulations on having been invited to the Led Zeppelin reunion concert you spoke of at tonight's concert.
I made the trek out to San Bernardino on the 22nd to see you at Stinger's, your first time at that venue. The place itself is pretty nice. Reminded me very much of Paladino's. I saw several of the Zepagain faithful there. I am sure they will agree with me when I say -- that stage was way too small for you! Jim W. was hidden behind the wall of amps, and Jim K. was in the shadows. The lights seemed to only shine on Swan and Steve. Don't know if that was by design or not, but you are four parts of one machine and you all need your time in the lights. OK, enough of that. On to the show itself. The crowd was pretty good. And, of course, you just knew that as the evening wore on, people would start climbing on the counter that separated the crowd from you and they did not disappoint! One of the things I liked the most about the San Bernardino crowd is that there was lots of dancing going on. That's what Zeppelin music is all about -- sexy, dancing music!!! Swan, I forgive you for saying that the San Bernardino crowd was much better than the L.A. crowd. I know that's just something that bands say. You know -- "Peoria, you have the best fans in the world" or "Duluth, wish we could take you on tour with us!" LOL! As for the show itself, stellar as usual. You broke out the smoke machine and green lasers which was awesome. You guys always rock it, and I am never disappointed. Ever. The highlight of the night -- Dazed and Confused. When Steve pulled out the bow, people went crazy, including me. It was HOT! I didn't make it to The Whiskey and I won't be able to make it to Pala, but I will see you at Paladino's on the 19th. How about adding "Celebration Day" to the set list for that night??? That would be awesome! See you soon -- Gil
I saw you guys at the Whiskey a few days ago and wanted to say the show was amazing. And I just read Steve's account of when Jimmy Page came to see you guys and that is one mind blowing story. Congrats guys. You deserve every word!!!!
Well, it had been almost a year to the day since I saw you last year at The Whiskey a go-go (my first time at the legendary spot). So I was pumped to make my 7th Zepagain show a year later again at The Whiskey. With 5 opening bands the schedule of the night got pushed back and the set seemed to get short because of it. This time I brought my girl to her first Zepagain show. She thought you were great. She's learning Zep. After seeing "The Song Remains the Same" for years I loved that you opened with "Rock and Roll" as they did during that period. The third song was "Nobody's Fault But Mine" and it smoked. One of my favorite things about seeing you is the surprises in the set list. "Immigrant Song" was it this time as I had not seen you do that one yet. I have never seen "Achilles Last Stand" but I'll be at the Anaheim House of Blues" in May (hint hint). Once again your sound was impeccable and so glad you're still keeping the magic alive as your helping my girl really discover Led Zeppelin. Her favorite is "In Through the Out Door". I'm bringing her to Anaheim H.O.B. in May. So maybe... Anyway, I still trip on you every time because you know all the songs and they all sound perfect. Plus, all the details like the drum kit which is an exact replica of Bonzo's, the symbols on the amp and keyboards and the costumes. As a long time Zep fanatic and one who has studied the history of the band, I can fully appreciate everything in your performance. Thanks again for being so good and enthusiastic. It is fully appreciated by those of us who know. Ive got one more request for May H.O.B.. Ive never seen you do "Hey Hey What Can I Do?". Looking forward to Anaheim. See you there.
For years my uncle, who lives out in L.A., has been telling me about this incredible zeppelin tribute based in L.A. I haven't been out that way since the late 90's, but he kept telling me that when I come back we're going to go see Led Zeppagain (and Which One's Pink). You can imagine my sheer joy when I was paging through the Hibbing Daily Tribune on Easter sunday and saw the advertisement that Led Zeppagain was going to do a show at Fortune Bay Casino. For anyone reading this from Cali, Fortune Bay is a rustic casino located on the shores of Lake Vermillion in northeastern MN. It is literally 20 miles from the end of civilization. This is the woods. Anyway to get back on track... my wife and I made the hour drive from Hibbing to Fortune Bay last night. A very peaceful drive through the woods as we listened to zeppelin 2 and houses of the holy. We are both huge zeppelin fans and my wife is 8 months pregnant due on April 25th. Each of our first two children were at concerts in the womb, so what a great show for this one to go to. When we got to the casino we ate in the restaurant there and we ate a few tables over from Jim Wooten. We recognized him from the promo posters. We thought about buying his dinner, but then figured the casino probably comped his meals. We were a little disappointed in the size of the crowd. The place probably sat about 250 and there were maybe 200 people. Really surprising because in northeast minnesota people are basically either classic rock or country fans. We got there an hour early in anticipation that it would be sold out, as tickets had to be bought at the door. I think if this would have been on a weekend it would have been standing room only. All I can say about the shoe is that we were awstruck. My wife and I have seen Aussie Floyd a few times, and have also said that they were the best tribute band we've seen, but you guys blew them away. It was just f*cking awesome. They opened with Rock & Roll, about 30 seconds into the song we just both looked at each other and were just blown away. Jim Kersey just drove that beat just like Bonzo. He was driving the bus. All four guys were phenomenal. I wish I kept track of the set list, but I was just to caught up in the moment. So many times I looked over at my wife and without having to say anything we would just smile or shake our head in complete enjoyment at what we were witnessing. Moby Dick was such a treat. The way you guys interact with the audience was awesome. To many times there is not any intimacy between the band and the crowd, but you guys had it going. The encore was Immigrant Song, and what spectacular way to the end the show. When the whole crowd was standing and that beat kicked in people went nuts. It was just great. As we walked out people around me just couldn't believe what they had just witnessed. I think going into it most people had no idea what they were about to see. You guys are a 5-star act and I applaud you for your obvious committment and study of the zeppelin catalog. Your story about being invited out to the December gave me goosebumps. By the time I worked my way into the casino to drop my $20 into the slots I had a sense of sadness knowing that you guys were going to be packing up and going back west. Please, please, please come back. When you come to Moondance Jam my wife and I will be there. Since it will be outside and the noise factor not as much an issue, I'll be taking my 4 year old son with. He has been watching the double disc DVD since he was 18 months old, can pick the band members out of pictures, knows who's who and who plays what. My wife and I's only regret was not being able to hang out after the show and get to meet you guys, but with two small kids, a babysitter, and a pregnant wife who had just been at a kick @ss concert for the last two hours we figured it would be best to get out of there. Again, please, please come back this way again. WE NEED MORE. You get to make your living playing Zeppelin...man what a life.
Hello guys. Your show at Fortune Bay last night was amazing. I couldn't believe how great you sounded. When you said your mission was to bring the music of Led Zeppelin to a new generation and keep the special feeling that their music brings, believe me, you did an incredible job! You all put so much passion into it. That is what Led Zeppelin means to me. There is no other feeling like listening to them hit that groove and just keep going. Your band brought the same sense energy and amazingness to the show. I hope you decide to keep doing shows around here because it was incredible. Thank you for the great show. Rock on guys! PS- Thanks for the guitar pick and handshake after the the show Steve!! Hope to see you soon. -Jake
My Beloved Boys, I am still reeling from the awesome show that night. I just want to reiterate how much I love it when you guys pair up with Steel Rod. The first four songs as a medley just blew me away. They REALLY kept the momentum going. I stood along the back during Steel Rod because the floor area was cleared so that those who had seats could enjoy the view. But we all swarmed the floor like roaches in the gutter once you all came out on stage! Those that were seated had to get up and join us headbangers out in front. Trampled (with Keith!!!) Levee, Bron-Yr-Stomp and How Many More Times were AMAZING!!!! And a mega-special thanks for playing BOTH of my requests, The Wanton Song and Sick Again. I bow down to you, my fantastic four!!! Sorry that I wasn't able to make it to the Vegas show, although I had every intention of going. And it turns out that I'll be missing both the Tijuana and Anaheim HOB shows too (I'm mega sad, but I'll be out of the country on those dates. Plus watching you guys in Mexico is ALWAYS fun!) I was recently both watching and listening to the O2 show and that just reaffirmed for me what an excellent job you boys perform. You are true to the actual Zep form. Plus I firmly believe that YOU, LED ZEPAGAIN inspired the actual Zep boys to perform "For Your Life" at the show. Even though I haven't been able to make it to as many shows as I used to, nor have I been able to make any recent crazy road trips like I used (glad you had a chance to do that too, Sandi!) I hope that you KNOW that I will remain faithful to you and I'll keep coming to the shows! Hugs to you all and thanks again for making me smile, --L. :)
What an amazing experience we have had! My husband and I took a ride to La Quinta with a friend in tow to watch four fantastic musicians play their hearts out to that timeless Led Zeppelin music that we all know and love. We were a little upset because we were late (I missed the exit... I had tried to pass up an Oversized Load truck ;ob). Much to our surprise, when we drove up to the park the band wasn't playing. It turned out that something went wrong with the sound, and we only missed two songs. Right after we parked, the sound went back on and everyone was ready to Rock'N'Roll (Divine intervention maybe? Hmm)! It was a beautiful day for an outdoor concert; blue skies, a nice cool breeze, and a very bright sun. There was an artist there and Swan gave her the opportunity to show her painting of Jimmy Page that she had done. It was quite sweet how proud her boyfriend was of her talent (Great job, BTW). Swan, Steve, Jim and Jim jammed to perfection, everyone was soaking in the music, and we left completely satisfied. We only had one hour to pack and leave when I found out we were going to Folsom. On our trip up there we noticed how many great rock radio stations there are north of the Grapevine, while there's nothing but c-r-a-p in L.A. (Hint, hint, L.A.)! We arrived at the Powerhouse Pub just in time for the guys to start. It was too packed for me to be able to see anything, but it didn't matter because my husband was able to get close enough to show our support; so I just closed my eyes and drank in the music. After the show we decided not to get a room, and drove another couple of hundred miles to a town called Oroville to see some old friends (This is a really funny story... I had to tell it). We planned on surprising them in the morning, and drove up at 4:30 a.m. We knew our friends very well, and had joked about what would happen when we surprised them. We just didn't expect to wake them up. But true to our friend's form, he came out all disheveled, shotgun in hand (yes, that's what I said... and what we expected!), ready to shoot and ask questions later. Turned out they had installed video cameras on their property since our last visit (no, not because of us), and were alerted to us being there. After the "commotion", they went back to bed and we woke up in the morning, had some great laughs and food, hung out for the day; then left later that afternoon towards Brentwood. Something seemed a little off to us that night (besides the sleepy crowd, sorry Brentwood) at PeeWee Muldoon's, but we couldn't place what it was because Zepagain didn't show it. It wasn't until much later in the show that we were told of how sick Swan was... Swan, BRAVO, nobody should have to work like that when they are sick; and, THANK YOU SO MUCH, for not canceling the show... After that concert, I decided to drive home (three total hours sleep in 48 hours), stopped at every rest stop for some fresh air, and of course, rocked all the way home to my Zepagain CD's, our Led Zeppelin DVD, and Rock Radio (until we hit L.A. again, hint hint, L.A.!). We tried to talk my mom into going to Vegas with us, but instead she volunteered AGAIN to watch our youngest daughter, and we were off to Vegas this time! So glad to see Swan was feeling better, and back to his wonderful self again! Steve, Jim and Jim, you guys looked totally psyched that night. The crowd was pumped, but in my opinion could have been bigger... I mean hey, we were in Vegas, Baby! Bet you guys didn't think we were going to be in Tempe, AZ, too, did you?! I couldn't help but think that you guys thought we were totally crazy by then... You were great as usual (even though the wire on the mic kept coming loose). The people in Tempe were really nice, and they couldn't get enough of you. I know how you like to invite the kids up to "air guitar" and rock out onstage, and couldn't help but smile when the parents of this boy thought he was leaving them, and I had to reassure them that you were inviting him up... You totally made his day, maybe even month! We made it back home from Tempe (after 2 hours of traffic in Phoenix, alone), and this time took my mom, and our 10-year-old daughter to B.B. King's. A couple of hours before the show, Jim Wootten's son had approached us at CityWalk (my daughter was wearing her ZEPAGAIN shirt) and we had told him how much we enjoyed his dad's work. We were happy to be treated later at the show to a Father/Son piece with Keith banging on the bass to TRAMPLED UNDERFOOT alongside his dad on the Keyboards. (Oops, someone accidentally kicked Steve's cord out of the amp ;ob) Still, a totally cool night. Well, that's it! Sorry I was so winded, but I must say to everyone who hasn't been as crazy as us traveling "with the band" (for lack of a better phrase), to try it. It's been a helluva trip, extremely memorable, and an experience, in my opinion, not much unlike what a band may go through when they have to travel. We were able to see the Ups and Downs that a band goes through during a concert... and we'd do it again. Much love and peace until we meet again. (To say you guys really knocked us out is a serious understatement! Thanks for being such great fans!! - Zepagain)
Every time I see you, I always say, "THIS was the best show EVER." Well, the B. B. King's show was the best show ever! It was so much fun and such a great venue, too. It has been a while since you played there. I wonder what it must look like to you, looking out from the stage at the people hanging over the railings of the second and third balconies. I thought it was really special that Jim Wooten's son came on stage to play bass on Trampled Underfoot. He totally rocked it, too! A really great show, but the best song of the night: When the Levee Breaks. I actually requested that song as it was my 25th show and I wanted to hear something I hadn't heard in a long time. I tried to submit the request but couldn't get it to go through. Whether you received my request or not, I don't know, but I like to think that you played WTLB just for me! :-) I'm still flying high from Friday's show and I can't wait for the next one. Thank you all for keeping the spirit alive. See you at The Whiskey! (Thanks Gil! Thanks to Capt Ron & Lady Joy, Check out a YouTube video of Trampled Underfoot with Jim's son, Keith, HERE!)
I saw you guys last night, and i have to say it was the best show I've seen yet. I've only seen you guys 4 times including this time, and I'm a huge fan! Anytime you are in LA I try to go. Most of all I loved that you guys played "When The Levee Breaks" Awesome harmonica and guitar and drums and bass and vocals and vibe. Un-fuckin-believable. Thanks guys! Zep Fan
Hi Guys, I was in House of Blues of Las Vegas on the 03/07/2008 where I was able to see them play. I admit that when I closed my eyes (in few moments), I saw all the guys of Zep playing in front of me, such the intensity, energy, vibration and competence of yours. I could return in the time tunnel and to review a lot of things of my life, when I walked for the highways of Brazil in the end of the sixties and beginning of the seventies, to the sound of that that I consider the largest band of Rock and Roll of the world. Boys thank you very much for the music and for the set list. I wait see them again. Thank you very much Plant, Page, John and John Paul for the wonderful night that you provided me. Beto Prado Bass Player Sao Paulo - Brasil
Before returning to New Brunswick, Canada, my wife and I spent our last night in Las Vegas by taking in the show at the House of Blues in the Mandalay Bay Hotel. When Zepagain started playing - we couldn't believe it - they sounded incredible! We didn't want the show to end. It was definitely the highlight of our trip. We got a chance to meet and chat with Steve and Jim at the end of the show - great guys! If Led Zepagain ever wanted to visit the east coast of Canada, people up here would pay alot more than what we had to pay at the House of Blues to see such a great tribute band! Thanks for the great show guys!
Once again, AWESOME show! We love you guys! We have seen your show many times at Cooperstown and Marquee. This time we took our 9 yr old son and he got to go up on stage to rock with you guys! He still hasn't touched the ground!! Thanks SO MUCH for a great time- please hurry back to AZ!
HEY GUYS, GREAT SHOW AGAIN, IN TEMPE ARIZONA. SEEING YOU IN FOLSOM CA. WAS A MUST SEE AGAIN. GOT MY ZEP FIX AGAIN!
Great show last night at the Powerhouse - hard to believe Swan was still getting over being sick! Guitar was incredible. Bass and Drums were awesome too! Had a great time - singing and dancing along. Thanks for playing 10 years gone - which I requested by email - was beautiful! I was dancing behind the cool guy in the wheelchair - btw - Swan - you have the Plant hand movements down better than he does! Can't wait for next P-house show!
The San Diego House of Blues show was just great. This was my first trip down to see Zepagain in San Diego since Zepstock and I was happy I made the trip. Last Friday nights show has to rate as close to perfect as you guys can get. I was up in the lodge and surrounded by first timers and they were all blown away, nothing unusual with that. They were also very impressed with my ability to call out your set list with over 90% accuracy, but then again I have seen a few shows. I am still waiting for Steve Z. to break out the green laser we saw first week of January at Sunset HoB. I guess the Galaxy and HoB San Diego did not rate as big enough shows for the effect. Too bad. Good to hear OVER THE HILLS AND FAR AWAY, it's been a while for me. Also, it seems like recently Zepagain has dusted off THAT'S THE WAY for the acoustic set. I would like to see BLACK COUNTRY WOMAN make into rotation again as well. And while I have let you guys rest for a couple of years it may be time to start asking/harrassing you guys for a new song or two. ROYAL ORLEANS and BOOGIE WITH STU sure would be good to hear! Nothing is to obscure to Zeppelin fans as noted by a number of fans who can't believe you do FOR YOUR LIFE. Ramble on, Mark 223
Saw you at HOB San Diego Feb 22...outrageous show. I'm a jazz guitarist but never forgot my roots. You reminded me of that. Please keep it up.
It has been a while for a review...sorry guys. Lets start with the Quiet Cannon (Montebello)Rick Ortiz always puts together Top-notch shows and this one was no different Steel Rod opened then Zepagain took over although the heat had to be unbearable at times. Mr. Ortiz was on it though dealing towels to the band with refreshments as well. Paladinos (Reseda) was a special show for my wife and I we had friends come to the show and had a wonderful time!!! I almost forget how much I love "How many more times" and "Heartbreaker" is always a treat Steve breaks out the bow on a silver platter and its all over!!!! Swan always kicks butt with "Nobodys fault but mine"!!!! By the way "Achilles Last Stand" was my friends favor Zep song!!! Great show many thanks for the experiance guys!!!! At the Galaxy (Santa Ana) my wife and I got there late by taking a wrong turn but got there just in time for Led Zepagain and the show was powerful and exciting...the crowd was huge and into it!!! Steve's version of "The Song Remains the Same" gets better and better everytime I hear it. Jim Wooten with the mandolin,Steve with the acoustic and Swan really took us on a journey with "Going to California". Jim Kersey playing "Moby Dick" is unbelieveable..as many times as I have seen it I still am in awe!!! Great concert Zepagain..till next time
Made my sixth Zepagain show last night. Another unbeleivable performance. Its been awhile since I caught you guys and last night made me ask myself why. Ive told a lot of people about you since I saw you the first time at HHOB a couple years ago. I got there and found out it was sold out but luckily there was a guy outside that had tickets. Which I paid $20 for. Loved how you copied the opening from O2. I always look forward to the surprises in the set list with you guys. Ive never seen much from ITTOD though. Accept Fool in the Rain once at the Whiskey. I will be the next Whiskey show in March. Maybe that night eh? Thanks for doing what you do and keeping the music and magic alive. Unbeleivable renditions of the live version from the Song blows me away every time. See you at the Whiskey.
Saw you at Paladino's Saturday night for the 12th time in the last 4 years. I'd say it was one of the best shows yet. It's easy to see why you guys keep doing it. You're great! I appriciate the chance to "relive" live music played as good as the original. Thanks.
WOW, you guys are truly amazing! everybody was spot on with the recreations of the real thing...i have grown up on the east coast and have only ever seen the tribute band ZOSO and i thought that they were probably as good as it gets as far as recreating a led show..but i was was way off -- you guys totally kick their ass!!
Very fun show, My ears will probally ring for a good while. Saddly your part of the show was not long enough and I only got the chance to talk to Mr.Wooten. Thanks for the great show, Owen
Many many many Thanks for all the work you guys do , mucho trabajo poco dinero , what a great show Friday!!!! My boys Thank you for the drum sticks and the pick , boy did that LIGHT up their life, they could not wait to get home and practice!!
I JUST WANTED TO LET YOU GUYS KNOW THAT I WAS AT YOUR SHOW FRIDAY AT PERISHING SQUARE AND I WAS BLOWN AWAY.... YOU GUYS ARE VERY TALENTED. YOU PUT ON A GREAT SHOW AND IT SAYS ALOT ABOUT ALL OF YOU THAT YOU DID IT FOR THE LOVE OF MUSIC... AND YOUR DESIRE TO ENTERTAIN PEOPLE LIKE ME. I CANT STOP TELLING PEOPLE ABOUT YOUR SHOW... SO THANK YOU ALL FOR A GREAT TIME ... AND I WILL MAKE SURE TO SEE YOU GUYS AGAIN WHEN YOUR BACK AROUND... KEEP IT UP YOUR ALL AMAZING MUSICIANS AND GREAT ENTERTAINERS... THANKS AGAIN FOR THE SHOW....
I saw Led Zeppelin in the late 70s i was only a kid then but have listened to their music since. I crank up your cds at the firehouse when the crew is working out and they all love your perfection to the real thing. Keep it up guys. I cant wait to see your next show. You guys Rock. Go ZEP
The frenzy began the night before for me, when other friends tried to get tickets and realized that the show had been sold out. I patted myself on my back for having bought my tickets in advance (I learned the hard way last year. Plus, I also scored by having made dinner reservations, which also maxed out that same night.)This all facilitated early entry into the venue and securing front-row/barricade space. Which One's Pink? put on a great set. I want them to play Atom Heart Mother next time. :) Then my boys came on stage and tore it up with Good Times, Bad Times. From the first notes, I got chills imagining what it must have been like in the O2 arena to have heard those first notes. In my humble opinion, In My Time of Dying deserves special recognition. This version was just amazing and we were all jumping up and down, oh my Jesus! Jim Wootten is the MASTER during Trampled Underfoot. The song embodies pure funk and Jim just dominates throughout. I firmly believe that Led Zeppelin took a cue from Led Zepagain and gained the inspiration to perform For Your Life in London for the first time ever. Zepagain does an outstanding job with this song. No Quarter is always such a treat for me, and Steve's solo just floors me every single time. Since I've Been Loving You, a long-time favorite of mine, was killer!!!!!!! And yes, I screamed my heart out during this one. The rest of the performance was awesome, but THE song that pushed me over the edge, that made me practically shed tears of joy was DAZED AND CONFUSED. Man, you all need to keep doing the green laser light effects for the bow solo. Holy $hit!!! I FINALLY got to see in person what it must have been like to see Jimmy standing there during the green laser show. Next time, let's bring out the fog machine that is used during No Quarter. I think it would be tight to do the lasers and the fog together! I'm pretty sure Zeppelin did both at some shows. Anyhow, what an amazing performance, guys! Wonderful job.... I recall hearing a small timing snafu during one song, but you all got back in sync very nicely. By the way, the screen with the in-action, live footage was kick-ass!!!! Keep that up too!!! (Poor Lady Joy, I know that had you running constantly the whole night, but it looked great! Thank you!) Keep up the good work, much love to you boys and to all the old Zepagain army buddies that came on out to party that night! --L. :)
Hammer of the Gods, Led Zepagain! We saw you again at the HOB a couple weeks ago and WOW, what a set you played! I can't tell you how jealous I am that you were actually seeing the golden boys at the O2 arena! I've been checking out You-Tube clips but nothing beats seeing them live. I was 16 yrs. old when I saw the mighty Led Zep at the fabulous Forum them hurried outside to follow the limo to their hotel. They lost us, of course, but what great memories! Thanks so much for being the next closest heartthrob to Robert, Jimmy, John Paul and Bonzo. I also trip out that Led Zeppelin draws fans of all ages. Rock on guys, we LOVE you!!!!
I just need to add that I loved the background video during your performance, especially one of my favorite songs Trampled Under Foot. The old film footage of people dancing. It fit perfectly.
I have to give Zepagain a lot of credit for playing in Norco in 30 degree weather and giving it there all for a great benefit. At the House of Blues (Sunset Blvd.)they were more warm and comfortable and what a show!!!!Swan was terrific (as usual) taking all of us on a majical journey...displaying his multi-talents by playing the harmonica on "Nobodys fault but mine". Jim Wooten got everybody going with the opening song "Good times the Bad times" with his isolated Bass strokes and the Keyboard on "Trampled Underfoot" was perfect and inspirational...talkin bout love!!! Jim "the big drum man" Kersey didn't get to do "Moby Dick " this time but thats OK because the interest in him performing it will have a few people around me coming to another show to witness that tune!!! Kersey contributions are enormous and sometime overshadowed by the 3 great musicians in front but he is Always on it and I mean ON IT!!! Which brings me to the Great Zukowsky......Steve Steve ohh Steve when your on your ON sir!!!!The Laser show and Fog made for one of the most memorable shows ever...almost mystical especially when playing "Dazed and Confused"!!!! People where so BLOWN AWAY by that including myself of course we were in disbelief and wonderment...your a rarity and totally one of the finest Hammer players of all time as far as I am concerned. I frequently go to concerts (quite obvious) and always wear my Led Zepagain shirts and everytime I will have no less than 3 people or more give me the thumbs up and yell STEVE!!!! Keep up the good work guys this world is definately a better place with you men in it....you have no idea how important, motivating and inspirational your music is all of us!!!! Every show is a unique in itself because there is SO SO much music the playlist varies!!! We saw at least a dozen fans from other shows...always enjoy interacting with fellow Zepagain fans!!!Bless everybody involved and we will see you all at the next show!!! Your Zepagain fan for life...has left the house but will be back again!!!
I made it to your show last night along with another fan that had gone to London as well. He had never seen you perform before. He was amazed and said when he closed his eyes he could pretend he was still in London! We thought you were GREAT!!! See you in the future, Lisa
I saw you at the House of Blues on Sunset strip. You are amazing! A gift to people like me who are (probably) never going to see Led Zeppelin perform live. Keep the music alive and thank you!
Reviews 2007:
All I can say is that, I agree with all of these reviews. After seeing other tribute bands over the years, you're left saying they're pretty good. But Zepagain, is by far, top of the field.
I just wanted to share with all of you that I was simply impressed with your performance. I was actually completely blown away, lost for words... I'm certainly not old enough to have been around when Zeppelin was in their hay day, but I have seen just about all of their videos and concerts on film and the comparison was amazing. The set list was incredible [same as the England show] and the sound was super tight. I'm so spreading the word about you guys and will be right up front again the next time you swing through Arizona. Keep up the good work, and thanks for keeping the music of the greatest band of all time alive! Big Led Zeppelin and now Led Zepagain fan, Natasha
If you ever get the chance to see Zepagain, go, no better yet, run there! After being disappointed in not being able to attend the O2 show (I tried everyway possible, lottery, contests, video contests, donations, etc.) the last thing I wanted to do on a Friday night was to see a tribute band after working for 10 hours. A friend suggested going to see them to lift our spirits since JP himself holds them in such high regards, they must be good. I had no intention of liking them or enjoying myself. So with that negative state of mind there I was and after the first few notes I was transformed to somewhere amazing. At first I had wondered if they were really playing or was it canned music, it was Zepagain alright. They were playing the same songs as LZ did at the O2 and my pitiful me mood disappeared immediately. They are a gift from the Gods of Rock. Steves guitar work will transcend you and Swans vocals are electric. Due to time constraints they werent able to do the entire O2 set; I could have listened to them all night. I am proud to say I am a fan of Zepagain, it was an honor to hear them and they do get it right (and then some).
Saw your gig at the Norco firestorm event and as usual you were stunning. This was a tribute band festival event to raise money for people who lost there houses in the fires this year. There were many different tribute bands and Led Zepagain came on last. When you guys came on you sounded soooo much better than the other bands. No comparison guys, none at all. You guys have taken Zep music and perfected it.
I flew out from California to see you for the first time in Tempe on Friday. And I just have to tell you, you were AMAZING! I have been a fan of Zeppelin all my life (John Bonham died on my 3rd birthday) and you really do a fantastic job of keeping their music and spirit alive. I couldn't stop dancing! THANKS :^) I look forward to seeing you guys again when you're 'Going to California'...
ROCK AND ROLL!!!! you Guys rock! I cant tell you how much i loved your show on friday night at the marquee theatre in tempe Az, i would dare to say that im the hugest zeppelin fanatic i know of and you guys my only dream mostly possible, id give anything in life to be able to see zeppelin tour just one more time, but your show was the next best thing and i thank you very much for it, it was flawless, please come back and kick ass again, and if you do come back to Az you gotta do one thing if you could, please play carouselambra, that would be the shit, that achilles last stand, thank you again!
I saw you last night at the Marquee Theater in Tempe, AZ. You were so amazing! My boyfriend and I were blown away by your performance and we had such a great time! I have been waiting for you to come back to AZ since I missed the show you did at the Mogollon up in Flagstaff. I had so many people tell me how great you were, and when I saw that you were coming I immediately went and bought tickets - and am very glad I did. You guys are SO talented. Great job!
Just saw your Bakersfield show at the Nile last Saturday night! You guys are AWESOME! I was really bummed when I realized I would probably never get to see the real Zeppelin play, but after seeing you guys, I am satisfied! You rocked the house and I was lovin every minute of it! I'm hoping to take my two sons to see you some time! They are only 8 and 9, but they love Zeppelin, and they would LOVE YOU! ROCK ON, GUYS! Hope to see you soon!
12/02/07 I saw LZagain last night in Bakersfield CA..took my girlfriend and teenage son (I am a Viet Nam Vet, HS English teacher and long time FB coach)Best concert I ever saw...Thank you...took me back, and brought me back...my son plays guitar (loves Green Day)..is now a Bona Fide fan of LZ and you guys..hope to see you again...Time has little to do with infinity and jelly donuts....Bob Stone
In early December 1980 the official press release came that Led Zeppelin could not continue on with out Bonzo. I was fifteen at the time and in my third year as a RABID Zep fan. I was crushed by the news. I have spent the last twenty seven years wondering "what if?" Well, on Dec 1st 2007 I had the honor of being at the Niles Theater in Bakersfield, Ca. to see Led Zepagain. I was blown away! You guys honor the legacy of Led Zeppelin every time you take the stage. I will see you soon. Enjoy the reunion show on the tenth.
Thank you so much for an awesome show. This is probably the closest to Led Zeppelin I will ever get. So I thank you for being so awesome. You definitely rocked the house. I will also be coming to see you at The House Of Blues on Jan 5th & was the one that requested you play "Ten Years Gone" for me in rememberance of my mother who passed away 2 weeks ago. She is the reason for my love of Zeppelin. You had me crying at this show when you played "Going To California" that is another song that reminds me of mom. Thank you so much. I loved you guys. Alina XXOO
Saw you guys at the Grove recently and at McMurphy's last night...just wanted to say a thousand thank yous for playing "Babe, I'm Gonna Leave You"...I've been waiting to hear you play that one (the entire song) for years now...you didn't disappoint and the crowd loved it...missed Wooten and Kersey's gong at McMurphy's but the intimate atmosphere was priceless...keep on rockin' and have an awesome trip across the pond to see the concert of a lifetime...wish I could be there!...we'll catch you when you return...
hey guys great show at the grove last weekend. it was the first time i saw you perform and i was completely blown away. great set list and great showmanship. zepagain is as close as it gets. ill being seeing more shows very soon.
The show at The Grove on Saturday night was the best I have seen in a long time. Now, all of the LZ shows are great, but there was just something special about this show, this night. What a great place for a show, great stage, AND great sound. I was at the front of the stage -- along with a group of teenagers. This was a surreal experience for me, because the first time that I saw Led Zeppelin I was 16 years old, and there I was rocking out with 16 year olds seeing Led Zepagain. Surreal!!! I won't forget the looks in their eyes as you launched into Kashmir. It was Magic, with a Capital M! For me, the magic was in Moby Dick -- I love it when Kersey has the gong behind him. When he hits it, I feel like I am watching Bonzo! Like I said, magic! It wasn't a perfect night, though. I think the beer lines were the slowest EVER, and your fans were getting really angry, including me. I missed your first couple of songs because I had been waiting in line for so long that I didn't want to get OUT of line! The Grove really needs to do something about their concessions. Plus, I don't know how anyone can SIT when you are playing, as the back half of the place was. That just amazes me every time. (Zeppelin music was made for dancing and FEELING, people. Get up and groove!) Swan, Steve, Jim and Jim -- thanks for a great time! See you again soon....
Having seen this band well over 200 times in over 5 years I have limited my reviews to shows with what I would consider stellar performance. It gets tough coming up with new alcolades for these guys over and over again. Last Saturday night had a special moment during the encore that shows just how tight and professional these four guys are. When Zepagain started the Whole Lotta Love medley into each show there was always the anticipation of 'what are they going to do next.' After seeing them about a hundred times it just became difficult for these guys to impress me. Saturday the encore impressed me. It started with HEARTBREAKER and I thought that would be it as the band was already over an hour and half. Nope, great segue into WHOLE LOTTA LOVE with ROCK AND ROLL put into the mix as well. Here comes the special part that only the well trained eye would pick up. At the end of ROCK AND ROLL that should have been the end of the show. Swan said 'goodnight and thank you,' Steve turned his back and was on his way to the amp to unplug, and the Mutant was getting ready to break down the bass. However Bonzo the animal Kersey broke into the second half of WHOLE LOTTE LOVE. Everybody engaged and nobody missed a beat. Aside from the band actually laughing at each other about nobody would be the wiser. I just love improvised shit like that. We had a few first timers their that night and they were simply blown away and had smiles on their faces all night long. Great great great show. Ramble on, Mark 218
Each time I hear the boys do Immigrant Song, I just die from excitement! They came out wearing and tearing and owning the damn place. The crowd was sizzling from emotion... it was mighty hot inside! Babe I'm Gonna Leave You was a bitchin' surprise! That's one of my personal favorites to headbang to. :) In The Light was ANOTHER major surprise. That's a rarity and we were blessed with that treat that evening. I always love hearing Kashmir. And even when there's a small boo-boo in performance of the song, it's still okay with me. I still look on like an approving mom watches her kid perform on stage and encourages them to continue, haha! Moby Dick was killer. I noticed Mr. KerseyBonzo's newest addition to his kit... I don't know the proper name, but those new drum thingys are bad-ass! So I'm watching the boys and I run out to make a "quick" beer run at the bar. Unfortunately, I missed out on them doing Black Country Woman and Bron-Yr-Stomp. I could hear it clearly and you all did an wonderful job! Please play those two more often! Too bad the bar lines at The Grove were just out of control slow... Led Zepagain, slip me a six-pack of beer off to the side of the stage next time, will ya? ;) That final solo of How Many More Times going into Whole Lotta Love going into Rock and Roll is just mega insane and the fucken best!!! Everyone was hopping and shrieking, including myself. It was awesome to see Alicia come back to another show! I was also very happy to see Rich taking care of the boys on stage. Hope you're feeling better, Rich! No one keeps things rolling like Rich. Mary J - it was awesome to FINALLY meet you! We must headbang more often! Hugs to you all, --L. :)
Good Morn'g to All. It's a Good Day cuz It's my Birthday today Nov. 4th. So I'll be the 1st to post a review of last night's great performance. The GUYS are just an incredible, amazing TRIBUTE band here in the Southland. SWAN, STEVE & both JIM'S. Now again, Myself, my Bros. brought there girfriends & friends to join an eventful night of fun. If you are a fan of LED ZEPPELIN, you will be thrilled and you'll walk away satisfied. To start out, the IMMIGRANT'S SONG is to get you going. The 1st Album's "BABE, I'M GONNA LEAVE YOU", WOW ! "KASHMIR" was a feeling of the audience, I got wooowed them to that PLACE. "IN THE LIGHT" gave me the chills... Mr. Wooten has that DOWN! To name a few, "HOW MANY MORE TIMES" always gets you to Many More Times. The Sitting Performances are always enchanting, clapping, and just plain ol' Fun! "MOBY DICK" is the ever so famous "BONHAM #". CUDDOS !! The OVATION, was just on your FEET, Get the FRICK up & join the front crowd. I'm glad I finally, met up w/ Lori whose been a FAN for quite awhile. NICE TO MET UP W/ YOU GIRL !! To summarize the final set, "HEARTBREAKER" & "WHOLE LOTTA LOVE"....I don't stop MOVIN' along w/ Lori & friend. I'm whipping up some sweat here. Don't panic, how can you not. "ROCK N ROLL" was in there too !! And this is some hard lickin's here. Just wait to you see them HEADLINE an full evening w/ most of Zep's catalog. The 2nd half of the Evening, the Pink Floyd tribute. I did see four #'s. WOW, Steve is just having so much FUN, and has lot's of energy to BURN. And I'm sure the rest of the EVENING, was just another BRICK IN THE WALL !o) See Ya Soon...ZEPAGAIN & AGAIN !!! Love Ya, x-o-x- Mary J.... YOU NEED COOLIN !! P.S. Your turn Lori.
Good morning! I caught your show in Brentwood last night, and my husband, friends and I agree it was the best show weve seen! Weve seen three so far. I think Brentwood had no idea how awesome you are, but by the time you covered Kashmir, there was no doubt you were a VERY SERIOUS cover Band!
Once again, an outstanding show! I loved how you started with the mellower and acoustic songs to get the night started, and then finished with the hard rocking classics. "The Ocean" as one of the encores was outstanding. Nor Cal particularly loves your Bron-Y-Aur Stomp! We can't wait unitl you grace us with your presence again!
You guys were awesome tonight. Had to leave around midnight... how much longer did you play? We had a lot of fun...dancing the night away. Favorite song: Broy Yr Aur Stomp ! Awww - caught you smilin at me thats the way it should be like a leaf is to a tree so fine....
The show at Paladino's was awesome, but I don't like it when you aren't the headliner because it feels like you get us going and then BAM -- you're done. Still and all, Paladino's is a great venue. Nice stage, good sound, great atmosphere. I wish you could be in the audience watching, so that you could see the joy on the faces of your audience. How awesome it must be to be as talented as the four of you are and to be able to touch so many people with your talent! I shared a few words with the Two Jims after the show and even though it was late and they probably wanted to get out of there, they both took a moment to chat and to say thank you. No, thank YOU! "If the sun refused to shine, I would still be loving you...". See you next time!
You guys rocked!! Great outside venue. This is the second time seeing your show. First was the Grove in Anaheim CA. It was an indoor show. In Lake Arrowhead, it was an outside show. The sounds were the same...Awesome!!!I heard your coming back to Lk.Arrowhead in 2008. I can't wait. I heard your show, was one of the largest they ever had in this community. For those who are reading this,I highly recommend seeing shows at this venue. I really encourage you to check out this show in 2008. The alpine setting, the good sound coming off the stage is a perfect night.Looking forward to seeing more of your shows. I hope to catch you again on November 3rd at the Grove. You are playing with which ones pink too. See you there..Thanks again,...Huge fan.
I grabbed my husband after work and whisked us off on a three hour drive to San Diego to watch four incredible gentlemen singing and playing with passion to the songs of Led Zeppelin with their own Led ZepAgain style. Once again, we were not let down. Friday night rocked through the roof. I saw a lot of happy faces at the end of the show to prove it. The only "complaint" that I had (and it didn't even have anything to do with the band) was the ventilation was terrible. We only stayed in San Diego for another 30 minutes after the concert before we left for home to Santa Clarita... And I have to say, after blasting my ZepAgain I and II C.D.'s on the way home; it was well worth driving home at 5:00 in the morning. Rock on, Guys!
Didn't expect to endure my first mosh pit at a zepagain show, but thats what went down friday nite...you guys rocked as usual and you have a connection to see zepplin in london? I wouldn't be able to tell the difference see you in folsom 10/19....ride on Ken and Mary
My Dear Boys, Thank you so much for having put on an excellent show Friday night. I had been long awaiting that thrill, going on a musical ride with Zeppelin (with the aide of a beer or two...) Hearing Immigrant Song, For Your Life, TSRTS/The Rain Song, Kashmir, Dazed and Confused, WOW!!!! As usual, I was right up front rocking out with some friends. My neck is STILL extremely sore today, two days after the show, because I had not headbanged like that in forever. It had been a REALLY long time (three months to be exact) since my last Led Zepagain show. That itself is a travesty. Never before had I gone that long without seeing you. But with trips out of town and family drama, I had been unable to see you sooner. No matter how many times I've seen you (105 with this show, to be exact) you never lose that touch, that magic feeling. Seeing you guys play and seeing all of the old Zepagain army members (hellooooo, Celeste, where ARE you???) made me feel like it was a long over-due homecoming. Much, much love to you guys! Oh, and again, thank you SOOO MUCH for that loving dedication you sent out to my uncle who passed away the morning of your Santa Fe Springs gig. That really means a lot to me! See you when I get back from Europe, --L. :)
You guys are amazing, you give a good presence to your show. I can close my eyes and feel like I was in a Ledzepellin concert. Is good to have real men who appreciate and give tribute to a good band. Thank you for continuing their legacy. My husband was surprise to hear the request made out to him this Friday "ALL OF MY LOVE". Thank u so much. We will continue to support u guys always.
A few months ago my wife was honored with the guitar pick from the great Steve Zukowsky after a show at Mcmurphys in Pasadena and put it in her wallet by here drivers license but must have lost it when we went to Hawaii (airport sercuity measures)!!!! One of her most cherished possesions gone but the good news is there are plenty of shows to see in the future so one may come around again starting with the Quiet Cannon on September 14,2007!!!! Montebello is a great venue and we had a great time last time we were there and the people were very, very nice and hospitable....best wishes to the band and we will see you there!!!! Zepagainfan's for life!!!!!
Thanks for playing "Ten years gone". I've been to a lot of your shows and finally seeing you perform one of my top 3 Zeppelin favorites was great. Hope it's not the last. thanks for another great show!
Nice work on For Your Life...I've always liked that song but you guys gave me a new appreciation for it!
I love McMurphy's because you can get up close and personal with MY band (as I call them), plus I always get hit on by really cute guys (I'm a woman, by the way)! :-) My family always worries about me because I go to the shows alone a lot of times, but I always say that even though I go alone, I have met so many people at the shows that I never FEEL alone. It's a great feeling of camaraderie, brought together by the music of the great Led Zeppelin as performed by the great Led Zepagain! It was another stellar show. I never have a complaint because I have never been disappointed at an LZ show. Well, maybe I have one small complaint: you didn't do Kashmir, but you did do Ramble On and Bring It On Home, so I guess I really don't have a complaint! Plus, Stairway is always a showstopper. When Swan says, "does anyone remember laughter?", it gives me goosebumps every time. The four of you bring it every single performance and I am truly grateful. Thanks for everything, Steve, Jim, Jim and Swan -- see y'all soon!
Review part two: It was amazing for me to see the crowds shift from the craft booths, and even the beer garden, for a closer look to see what was going on! Folk's actually putting down there drinks..To rush over to get a better look,at who was performing a Led Zep song so well. Even blocks away started to merge toward the sound! The crowds braved the heat.there were plenty of water misters to go around up front. Justin Timerlake actually "flew by" However,Swan told him to take a hike! and the crowd agreed, We Have Zepagain we dont need you! Who is there beside me that these boys need to go national, they have but we must share them. As long as they the Forum in true Zep style. They work very hard for our enjoyment,Lets give back.
Another Great Show! I just cant seem to get enough of this Band! The reviews from the crowd as I walked around were as follow's.. Amazing-just like the real thing-I cant believe it. The list goes on. I forone, have become a free lance promoter for these guys I'am not on the payroll,"I dont need to be" the music is the pay off for me,and the charge I get once I"turn-on" some one to a Zepagain show, they are always blown away as I am! Another outstanding show boys! "You guys work very hard, To bring it on home! and i look foeward to the next
WOW! ...again! Another fan, Rich Myers, posted a review dated 8/20. To any of you out there who aren't familar with a Led Zepagain show, please scroll down and read it! It's all true, word for word! So, I'll just say "DITTO!!" I haven't met Mr. Myers, but maybe at the next show! Thanks again guys for a GREAT GREAT show! It was nice to see you all again and I even got a chance to say Hello to Brenda! See you soon! Lyle
First let me say, thank you. We went to the Sunday night show and had a jammin' time ! I am a HUGE ZepFreak and your show was a real treat. You played songs that were totally unexpected, like Bring it on home, Ten years gone, All of my love, and In the light. I was very impressed by the entire show. Before the show I met "Jonesies" wife at the CD booth and bought both CD's and a t-shirt, before I even heard you play. Just figured ya gotta be good if Jimmy likes ya, ha-ha. I was fortunate (if you can call it that) to have seen (or almost saw) Zeppelin live @ Tampa Stadium 1977, the infamous rained out show that was postponed and ultimately cancelled. My favorite band, and the only opportunity I ever got to see them in concert. But the thanks is for letting us hear the music us diehards love so much, in a live show, it is much appreciated. Led ZepAgain is the epitome of a tribute band. Looking forward to another Houston area show, hint hint. Ramble on guys.
The three Holiday is on us, whatcha doing? I for one am getting down to Hermosa Beach Pier to enjoy the Zepagain play the ocean on the ocean!!!!!come early enjoy the vendors and artists at the fair,But come early to see the best show,You've ever enjoyed every memory of Zep is there for you to drink in. Why BBQ in your backyard this week-end when you can have fun the sun with Zepagain bring the kids bring the memories...Fun is provided..se the show and remember the laughter.
I saw you at McMurphy's yesterday (8/24). YOU WERE AMAZING!!!! I hope to make every Southern CA gig.
Took my 3yr old who knows some of the songs thnks to my 15yr old. He was there shaking his head and singing and clapping, the concert was great as always. My 15yr old couldnt make it but I was sending him pictures thru my phone. I had other family members with me and they had a blast. The music was great the performance was great and the people there were great.
Having,"been on the business end of music over the years". "I went to yet another tribute band concert" BOY WAS I WRONG! This group is by far the most outstanding cover show I have ever had the pleasure to experience! "If you have been to a show,ya know what mean" If not I highly recommend looking to the next date before they are on a world tour. R.Grant
My son and I have seen Led Zepagain over 10 times. Love every show, especially last Saturday's show in Santa Fe Springs. Brought 8 buddies/family members and they were blown away! New fans for sure.
I caught you guys at the santa fe springs show at 3pm on aug 18 07. you guys rocked. No Doubt. It was sad not everyone stood, but they missed out on a great show! The only thing i wanted more was to hear "Since I've Been Loving You" but you guys covered pretty much Zeppelin's best songs. Great job guys, keep it up! (Thanks, and sorry you missed that, Anthony, we did 'Since I've Been Loving You' in the second set! - Zepagain)
went to all three shows...all differant all fantastic. my daughter's country and western music friend is now a zep fan as a result of your second concert on saturday. the acoustic version of 'goin to california' on sunday was worth the price of admission alone. ran into the moody gardens general manager...he said "I definitely plan on bringing them back again" great show!
Hey guys, Really enjoyed your show in Galveston on Sunday. You guys rock! My son was really inspired when he was handed the drumsticks. Thanks for that. He is an aspiring drummer and that will push him even harder to learn and progress. Rock on!
Caught the Friday night show at tne Moody Gardens convention center. I thought the band was incredible. Note for note it was amazing. Great energy from the audience as well. I would definately go see them again. Thanks David
I just want to give the band a huge Texas size "THANKS Y'ALL" for doing what they do! I never saw Zep live but am glad to have seen Led Zepagain and look forward to seeing Zepagain again!! What a bunch of really nice guys. Thank you for putting on a great show .Once again, thank you Swan for posing with the mrs.,thanks Jim (drums), thanks Jim(Bass)and thanks Steve for showing us guitar players in the crowd how Page played those things we couln'dt figure out. If you get a chance, dont miss them. These are some really cool dudes!!
We were at your Pechanga show last weekend and it was amazing. Thanks for keeping the magic alive. We will definitely find future gigs.
Like many of the youth today, my 15 yr old son discovered that his old mans' playlist on his ipod has some great stuff in it. He became Led fan and so when we saw that you were coming to Temecula, we just had to go. Man, what a great show! You guys have really captured the essence of L.Z. Now we're gonna have to keep a watch out for your next local appearance so that we can hear the rest of our favorites. Next time you ask for requests, I'll be quicker on the draw. Thanks for a great time for me and my son!
Pechanga was a great venue for you guys! The room was rockin! I loved the "Which ones' Pink" show as well, but frankly I could have listened to you all night long! So quit teasing and play a concert all by your onesies next time. I think you definitly caught Temeculas' attention! Thank You So Much! It was a great Birthday for me!
Great show at Pechanga. I hope to see you again soon. The whole show was great, Thanks, Tom
Late start, but worth the wait, AWSOME, is the only word to describe it, The rain song,Stairway to Heaven, Can't wait to see ya back in San Diego again, Maybe H.O.B. !!!
Wow, after having set an all-time record for myself (TWO months of not having seen Led Zepagain perform) I was given back a fresh breath of air! The boys put on a bad-ass set, containing songs that are not often played: Tangerine, The Lemon Song, For Your Life, In My Time of Dying.... man, it was ON that night! The good thing was that there were A LOT of usual faces in the house that night. It was good to see each and every single one of you. I need to make sure I bring my Spiderman suit with me the next time I see Zepagain at McMurphy's. That place gets SO FULL, and if you're not right up in front of the stage, the next best place to see the stage is alongside the wall. I'll find a way to stick to the side of the wall while holding my beer... Anyhow, thanks again for a great set (yay, you did Kashmir too!) And HOPEFULLY there will be another local gig before the one at the swapmeet in August. Sales for your Pechanga gig are going well; too bad I can't find a place to stay at around there. =( Love ya guys and please keep up the good work!
It's been a while since we have posted a review; but not because we've missed any of your shows (including Tucson's Rockfest), but only because I haven't been on the computer since our last reviews. And I'm really sorry about that, because I WANT EVERYONE to know how freakin' fantastic you guys rock and roll every time! Because of LED ZEPAGAIN, the band, and SWAN, STEVE, JIM W and JIM K, the artists and people, my husband and I look forward to going to every show; practically every week!!! Finally, McMurphy's was great (as usual). And I want to say a special thank you to Steve for giving me your guitar pick that you used that night, I will cherish it always; and to all of you for graciously signing your autographs for me... MUCH LOVE & PEACE to all until next time... ROCK ON!!!
Caught the show a McMurphys in Pasadena last Friday and was not surprised to hear the best four cover musicians to ever take the stage together in top form again, or should I say Zep again. We brought several first timers to a Zepagain show and you did not disappoint. TANGERINE sounded great, it was good to hear HOW MANY MORE TIMES, and thank you Jim and Swan for the dedication on FOOL IN THE RAIN which is one of my favorite Zeppelin songs. I pestered you guys for about a year and a half to learn that song and still remember the debut at the Temple Bar several years ago. Good to hear Zepagain is leading the down loads on Itunes. You guys deserve everything you get. Rambling on at 214, Mark
WHAT A TREAT seeing the band again last night after a very long year away from California! As always, you guys are on top of your game! Not enough Ooooooooooooo's in Smooooooooooth! And Tara & Capt Ron, fantastic seeing both of you again!! Missed ya'll! Lori, WHERE WERE YOUUUUU?! Grabbed a few photos on the mobile phone for those who missed this show: http://rickweller.com/music
I just caught the show in Northridge on Friday nite. It was fantastic!!!! When they played Dancing Days I was really surprised that Steve didn't use the slide....hell, I can do that! But on the next song, When the Levee Breaks, Steve pulled the slide off the theramin stand, I think it was. I truly believe that the highlight of the evening was when a kid named Frankie came on and played Heartbreaker with them. He sounded really good. I love that the guys do that at the free shows. The strange thing of the night was Stairway as the encore. A little tid bit about Steve's solo: It looked and sounded like he almost missed a note at the very beginning of the solo, like he hits 2 and a half of the three notes. Then it appeared as though he lost his train of thought for about 2 micro seconds and then jumped right back into where he should have been. Absolutely awesome! Steve: I was yelling out 'Lemon Song' when Swan asked for requests. Did ya hear it? I was gonna call a girl and leave it on her voicemail, but, alas.... Tim
I was at the show this Saturday at the Sunset Ampitheater. Hands down the best Tribute band I have ever seen. The origanal Led Zep should be proud to have you performing the songs. I unfortunatly have never had the chance to see them play but now after seeing you I dont feel slighted a bit. Incredible work, and thank you. I look forward to seeing you next time your in town or even close to Vegas.
you guys were awsome at the kegger in las vegas, had a great time
i must say, again, Yuo played so so amazing. Dazed and confused was incredible, you played a perfect version of it. And whole lotta love, just perfect. for the ending like a big led zep gig thank you again rene
Dear LedZepagain I went to see your show in Lima, it was awosome!! I was borned listening to Led Zeppelin ( I'm 21 yeard old) I always dream in seen them in person in our country, never happened. But you were the same, I closed my eyes and I was just listening to the original group. I would like you to come again, next year..This time I did not have the opportunity to buy a T-shirt nor your CD,tell me how can I buy it, because I will like to have a souvenir from you guys. Consider me a friend and a fan..tell me when do you plan to come again to Lima. I have long plays and CD of the group, but I want yours. Warm Regards..Juan Pablo
Hi! I wanted to congratulate you for last night's performance. I lived in San Francisco from 1969-1973 (just about the time Led Zeppelin appeared) since I was just a kid back then, the music didn't come out from my memories until at the age of 16 I went to the movies and saw THE SONG REMAINS THE SAME (here in Lima, 1976). After the movie, I couldn't avoid going back to the ticket booth to buy another entrance and went back in again! From then on I became a great fan. I do hope you come back again soon, because I think that with the help of the WORD OF MOUTH, more people like me will come to see your performance, since none of us had the priviledge to see Led Zeppelin on tour, but at least we got to feel the real magic! Thank You PS. Next time around we can hang out to an Irish Pub!

Hi guys I really loved your set and selection of tracks in your show down here in Lima, I was surprised that they made you play in such a place with everybody sitting on their asses it was frustrating. i hope next time you can play in a suitable venue. You guys rock!
I went to your concert in San Agustín colliseum, that saturday may 19th at 9 pm, was a great concert and the quality of your performance was as good as our Led Zepp.
Hello, i Saw you guys in Lima, waht can i say you where amazing. Yuo play the perfect song for a led zep gig. Dazed an confused was incredible and of course whole lotta love!! wow dudes its a shame that the organizers didnt alowed to have drinks on the auditory. any way you rock thank you for comming to peru

All of you are awesome! drummer, bassist and guitarrist (with that cute smile all the time in his face). The most marvelous, incredible tribute I've ever seen, thanks so much for coming here to Peru. Please come back again and soon, very soon. I love ya all!!! Swan you are Robert Plant!!! my 10-year old daughter loved you on saturday night, she loves The Inmigrant song and you performed like the Gods. Thanks for the great time in Lima! best, Ana
What a SHOW! You guys are fantastic. I've been a serious Zeppelin fan since first seeing them in the 70's. I have never been to a show performed by a tribute band and admit I was more curious what it would be like than expecting an honest to God Led Zeppelin concert. I wish I had bought a T-Shirt!!!! Moments after the show started it was apparent. The energy, sound and soul of Zeppelin filled the auditorium. It was thrilling for me, as I'm certain it was for everyone there. Final note: Remember to check out the artist I mentioned to you back stage. His name is Bill Foss. His original painting "Heaven Knows" is absolutely amazing and a must see (http://www.billfossworld.com). Thanks for a great show, and it was really a pleasure to meet each of you. Your warmth and hospitality to a stranger were greatly appreciated. Best Wishes Jerry Wills producer Xpeditions TV http://www.XpeditionsTV.com
Like most of the reviews- Led Zepagain gets better and better. I grew up with Led Zeppelin and had the chance to see them in Tempe in 1977 and you guys are pretty damm close. At the Rockfest they saved the best for last. Cant wait for your next gig in Arizona because I will be there, and dont be strangers to Tucson make it an annual event.
I must admit, I was a bit stunned when I heard you guys open up with "We're Gonna Groove." It has been SOO LONG since I last heard you all do this, and I am very thankful that you sprinkled this one in. I received an even greater surprised when you guys went immediately into "The Ocean." I think I've only heard you guys do that one more as encore. But you know what, it sounded so good to hear it up in the beginning of the set. "Hey, Hey, What Can I Do" is a lovely song that gets played every once in a blue moon. That moon was shining up high that evening while you brothers were playing it, that's for sure. I have repeated countless times that I become entranced each time the "Misty Mountain Hop" and "Since I've Been Loving You" combo is sprung upon us. LOVE IT!!!! "Kashmir" never tires me out and you guys do such royal justice to this song. Jim Kersey was possessed by the one and only John Henry Bonham and Kersey put on an amazing performance of "Moby Dick." Much love to you guys, --L. :)
I've caught your shows a couple of times now and fall more and more in love with you guys....I am spreading the word to all of those that may have not caught a show yet that it is truly a must see....always a good time..Keep getting the Led out! Love ya Celina....
you guys are awsome you guys are the best concert ive ever seen ive seen the B-52s, violent Femmes, and THE WHO... but you guys put the best show i have ever seen. haha plus when i went to your concert, swan pointed out to me cause i got the long blonde robert plant hair and said "we have another Robert in the house"... ill never forget that, you guys are the best...
Glad to see you guys over here in Ireland. You played a great set, I guess you guys are Led Zeppelin in a way. You missed the afterparty though...
My second Led Zepagain show in a week. This show was another great one.The band came on and play for about two and a half hours. The crowd were slow to warm up but when the played some acoustic songs the atmosophere got much better. The gig was great but it wasn't just as good as the one in drogheda a week ago.
Once again, you guys ROCKED THE HOUSE -- Not only did you guys rock the house, you packed it, too!!! I want to thank you all for playing one of my favorite songs, "All My Love", for us... March marked the 21st year that we have been together, and because of you, you made our celebration even more special. Once again... GREAT SHOW!!! We look forward to coming out and seeing you guys rock on again very soon!
The show last night was one of the best shows i have ever seen. The group came on and were amazing from the start to the finish. Its one of the smallest gigs I have ever been at but that wasn't a reflection of its quality.I can't wait for their next gig in Dundalk next weekend.
what a show!! I was blown away at how much these guys are like the real thing,Ive grown up listening to led zep,and never experienced there music played live by any orther tribute band, and ive seen the best first. Thanks to the band for giving me the experience of what a real led zep gig would be like. I hope you guys come back and visit Ireland real soon,in the mean time myself and my mates will be spreading a good word! keep on rockin!!
made my 6th Zepagain show. As like every time I have seen u I was blown away. I have been fascinated by Led Zeppelin music from the first time I heard them in 1979. I was 11 and it was the new album. Never heard anything Ive liked better from that day in August. You have renewed that enthusiasm. That was my first time to the Whiskey and I was so hyped to go. I brought a friend (again) for his first Zepagain show. I look forward to being surprised by what you play each time. Over the Hills and Fool in the Rain are 2 of my all time favorites and you performed them perfectly along with In the Light. When u started Going to CA i was inspired by a particular lyric and decided to follow suit and smoke my stuff. Well, MR. Security Guard was not down and out I went. But I was still stoked. Off to the Rainbow for Lasagna.. Thanks again for another incredible performance and looking forward to bringing old friends who are Zep fans like me who have still not seen u. I'm spreading the word. Late.
It's been a while since I put my opinions on this site as I have enjoyed observing people finding the band, then realizing and commenting for the first time about what I found out over 5 years ago. Cracks me up when I see somebody say the have been to 6 shows and my message to them is, "keep coming back, it only gets better." You can look at every review for over the last five years and while the names change, the song remains the same. Having seen this band perform for well over 200 shows they have only gotten better over the years. And they were pretty damn good 5 years ago. Other tribute bands pale in comparison to the mighty Zepagain. Having seen Led Zeppelin 6 times in the 70's and then Plant/Page 9 times in the 90's I consider myself fairly knowlegeable of Led Zep's music and as well as their live performances. I have always been an advocate of Led Zepagain performing Led Zeppelin's music better than Led Zeppelin did themselves. Zepagain is simply by far the best four cover musicians I have ever seen on one stage at the same time. Not only have I been one of the biggest fans and a staunch supporter of this band, they will be the first to tell you I am their biggest pain in the ass critic as well. Nobody has mentioned the CD over the last week and it needs mentioning. I picked it up at The Grove and this past weekend I played it 2-3 times with an audience of friends so you are not just getting my opinion, you are getting a consensus of a group. The recreation of THE SONG REMAINS THE SAME, RAIN SONG, DANCING DAYS, GALLOWS POLE, NOBODY'FAULT BUT MINE, RAMBLE ON, and THE OCEAN are in my opinion near flawless and what Zeppelin did in the 70's is severely kicked up a notch or two by Zepagain. As a matter of fact 11 of the 12 tracks are indicative of what Zepagain is all about. THE WANTON SONG, IN THE LIGHT, WHAT IS AND WHAT SHOULD NEVER BE, and FOUR STICKS are all great tributes to what Zeppelin did 30 years ago. I felt NIGHT FLIGHT, which is one of my favorite Led Zeppelin tunes, misses the high quality I have come to expect from this band. It will be interesting to hear and read what other people think about the CD in general. Anyway, as far as song selection and quality I gave the first CD a very high B+. This one is better. It gets an A- and I advise everybody to go out and get a copy. For those of you who asked me to burn a copy for you, Fuck you, go buy one like I did. Ramble on, Mark (CLICK HERE to buy our CD online, and hear samples! - Zepagain)
Saw you guys jam it out at the Whisky a go go, and i gotta compliment you guys on your performance..... it was amazing......even better than the first time i saw you guys.... thanks for keeping the spirit alive and reminding people that there is good music out there that despite its age, its really timeless, and will go on influencing other genres and artists.... maybe that kid Swan gave his tamborine to will be up on that Whisky a go go stage in accouple of years, and tell his crowd a little story about how when he was a kid in the audience and he witnessed a really awesome performance by Led Zepagain.... lots of luck and love.....see you guys again.....CHEERS! Live, Love, Learn, and Smile........ Guitars Licks, STEPHANIE
I just saw you guys down at the grove in aneheim a while back for the first time. You guys are awesome, awesome guitarist(with a cute smile) awesome singer, awesome drummer, awesome bassist. I'll admit it, when my dad mentioned to go see you guys, i had my doubts at first, but when I saw you, everything lived up to my expectations. I could close my eyes and imagine I was listening to Robert Plant sing and Jimmy Page playing the guitar; his fingers racing across the fret board. I can't wait to see you guys again. See you soon!
you guys rocked last night!!! at the whiskey. my dream since i was 15 was to see the best band ever LED Zeppelin and im now 21 years old and i feel like and die in peace because of LED ZEPAGAIN. you guys are on point with everything thats LED ZEP.and the highlight of the night for was getting the drum sticks from the greatest drum player of my time thanks guys.
Once again you guys ROCKED THE HOUSE!!! My husband and I had a great time as usual!! The crowd was rockin' and everyone of all ages had a great time!! I was completely surprised (and blushed beet red), but thank you for the Kudos you sent; you guys made me feel special Friday night... We look forward to seeing you all again next Saturday at Paladino's...Break a leg, and KEEP ON ROCKIN'!!!
U guys bring back the real rock-n-roll. tears came out of my eyes @ the Whisky A Go Go.
Great Show Last weekend I loved it!
Great show at the Grove! I see you guys every chance I get when you visit the San Fernando Valley but the Grove show was leaps and bounds better than any other show I have seen. You guys brought down the house. Note for note I was in heaven. I hope more live-show tributes are to come... Eisportaille Germany for instance in 1980. I've heard stories that Zep was a band driven by Page and until the live-show of MSG I didn't really get it. Zukowsky is the real deal. To put it into perspective... a man standing next to me said, "Three guys are making ALL that sound." Unbelievable! Best show in the three years I have followed you. Love you guys. Keep rockin'...
Ever since I can remember, I'd always wanted to be at Madison Square Garden watching Led Zeppelin performing their most amazing set for the taping of their concert film, The Song Remains The Same... So when I heard about your band performing the set at the Grove, I HAD to buy tickets So, I took my wife and my little brother expecting to see the best show by a cover band Now, last night might not have been Madison Square Garden, but YOU fellas were Led Zeppelin (to me, at least) You LIVED my dream You turned my favorite band and album and movie into the biggest dream come true, and you didn't even know! Thanks guys, Paul Z
My Husband and I saw you all AGAIN last night... You guys ROCKED -- AS USUAL!!! We got your second CD last night, too... As soon as we got to a player, we threw it in... It's already on the road to get worn out, and we'll be ready for Zepagain III!!! Thanks for all the fun last night, we look forward to seeing you guys again soon... Have a safe journey to Ireland and ROCK ON!!!
So it turns out that I'm just a little bit less upset that I didn't see the real thing in the seventies. I'm so glad that you guys mentioned that we should contact you with our thoughts on last night's show. I only wish Led Zeppelin could possibly sound as good as you all did last night. God bless Robert Plant, but he's a big suck monster right about now. You guys keep the spirit alive! Thanks for a great time.
Seen you guys last night at The Grove in Anahiem! You guys fucking ROCKED!!
First I would like to thank the band for allowing us into their world... My wife and I are big fans and will continue seeing Led Zepagain for life. I always invite friends to the shows and spread the word!!! At McMurphys in Pasadena we got there 2 hours early and at a packed house Zep gave us everything we asked for...We left completely content and satisfied!!! The drummer, Kersy gave my wife his sticks before doing the encore which ended with "The Ocean" which is my favorite song... a truly magical night!!!! We went the next night to Yucaipa and they played a completely new set... which brings up the point no show is ever the same!!! The first time we heard these guys was at Northridge Park and I heard "My Dying Time" and came running.. Zepagain is Wonderful and a great time to be had by everybody!!!! Swan is a showman and has the ability to compliment the most unique voices ever heard....he takes you on a journey and brings you back wanting more and more!!! Jim Wooten is a fabulous Bass player and on the keyboards creates a mood soothing and emotional!!!! Jim on the Drums is a monster... I have never seen anybody take on "Moby Dick" like he has. I have so much respect and admiration for his effort and power!!! Which leaves us with Steve on Lead Guitar...he must be the busiest guy in town!!! He assists the Pink band and I have seen him play in the Deep Purple tribute band flawlessly!!!! Steve Zukowsky gets up there and plays with soo much Purpose and Power...holds the guitar low which is very hard to do with that kind of Quality and Speed. I have had people that I meet at their first show grab me and say "this dude is Bada$$" only thing I could say is "I know"...he brings it to the game everytime!!! I have met every band member personally except for Swan and I can say they are all really nice guys and enjoy what they are doing!!! I am also excited about laying my hands on the new ZepagainII that is out now; I have played the first one to death already!!! I want to wish them Luck, Health and Fame and never want them to quit bringing us the Greatest music in the World...we will see you in Anaheim on March 10,2007 Good Luck to All.. Go Led Zepagain!!!!!
The night started out well by catching most of the opening band, Peace Frog s set. They produced a very good rendition of the Doors sound. By the end of their set, I moved up to my usual spot right by the sound board which is normally the best place to hear the band and that night did not disappoint. I brought two people who had never seen the band before and was anxious to see them blown away by the mighty Led Zepagain. Then the moment came. The lights dimmed and from behind the curtain we heard the bashing drum intro of Rock And Roll and I felt like I was back at Madison Square Gardens during the 1973 Houses of The Holy tour. After Jim Kersey did the monster Bonham ending drum fill, Steve kicked right into Heartbreaker and sounded just like Jimmy Page in the middle section. After that it was just like listening to the second side of Led Zeppelin II as they flowed right into Living Loving Maid. From there, Steve got on the microphone and mentioned that it was 32 years to the day (February 24, 1975) that Zeppelin released their double album masterpiece, Physical Graffiti. And with that, they launched into the opening track from that album, Custard Pie. Swan showed his imitations of the Golden God by wailing on the harmonica and shouting out Chew on a piece of your custard pie . Then we ventured into the closer from Led Zeppelin IV, When The Levee Breaks! This was the first time I ve seen them play this song and they nailed it! Then it was back into Physical Graffiti with Ten Years Gone. Jim Wooten had already ripped up the bass, wailed on the keyboards and now he grabbed the acoustic 12 string for this song. I call him the band s secret weapon since he does a little of everything. Then in pure Zeppelin fashion, they sat up front and began the acoustic set. Swan said he wanted to play something that wasn t on the set list and they began into That s The Way which was exquisite. From there it was into the always tasteful Going To California. What came next was a big surprise Tangerine. What a treat for us hard core Zep fans. It was great to finally see Zepagain play this live since I know they don t very often. They kicked the night back into high gear when Steve strapped on the double neck and hit the guitar chord for The Song Remains The Same. What came next was probably the highlight of the evening for me - just an amazing, ripping version of How Many More Times. Steve was phenomenal throughout and especially when he pulled out the bow for the middle section. I m so glad they pull all sorts of songs out of the vast Zeppelin repertoire as well as the classics. As with most shows, it was know Jim Kersey s time to shine as Swan yelled out Moby Dick, Dick, Dick As I watched this master play both with bare hands and sticks in pure John Bonham fashion, I realized that I was no longer a drummer, but a drum collector and that my drum collection hangs out underneath my cymbal collection. Mr. Kersey, I salute you. It is always an inspiration to watch you attack the kit. Next came the usual trio of classics Kashmir, Stairway To Heaven and Whole Lotta Love with the boogie, woogie middle section just like the live version. The band must be getting ready for their performance of The Song Remains The Same in its entirety this coming weekend. From here they left for their encore. The crowd was loud and appreciative and were hoping for a little bit more and the band delivered with a great finale duo of The Ocean and The Immigrant Song. What a thunderous way to close a perfect performance of music. After the show, the band came back out to talk with their fans, which is always a classic touch by the four members. I enjoyed myself as always and the first time viewers I brought were blown away. I will be making the hike up the freeway for the Pink Zeppelin show this weekend in Anaheim and am thoroughly looking forward to it. Thanks for being such a phenomenal tribute band and I hope I get the pleasure of performing with you all in Mammoth again this summer. Joe
Every single time I wake up AFTER one of your San Diego shows, without failing, I feel the soreness in my neck, hoarseness in my throat and a ringing buzz in my right ear. I ask myself, "what the hell happened last night?" I wince in pain for a few minutes, roll over, smile and then say, "oh yeah, Led Zepagain!" This show was just insanely delicious! When the Levee Breaks is one of my absolute favorites and you all tore it up! Moby Dick was amazing as usual! Swan, Steve, Jim W. and Jim K., I can't stress enough how amazed I continue to be by your musicianship. It is always a wonderful experience to share the vibe in the air (along with whatever type of smoke happens to filter through the air) with other Zeppelin fans. I'm telling you, nothing beats comparing Zeppelin shirts, memorabilia, tattoos, etc. with other rabid fans at your concerts. And having Peace Frog open up, well that was just another plus! Keep on rockin' boys! And as Rich told me, "It ain't fun till it's 101!" My 101st show, that is.... Jim W., I owe you three hugs now! LOL.
You know I've been working A LOT, when I haven't even gotten a chance to submit a review in a timely fashion. =( Your most recent show at Paladino's was a DREAM come true. Seeing a tribute to Deep Purple, Jimi Hendrix AND Led Zeppelin, all in the same evening??? WOW!!! You gentlemen continue to knock everyone's socks, hats and toupees off. You also cause a few bottles to tip over from sheer intensity; luckily I clutch mine tightly. Thank you SOO MUCH for that beautiful and kind recognition that you brothers gave me for having attended my 100th Led Zepagain show!!! Jim Kersey, thanks for the tambourine, man!!! I sincerely meant what I said from the stage... Swan: "What makes you keep coming back again and again?" Lori: "Because you guys are so f****n bad-a$$!" Much love and respect always, one of your most loyal fans, --L. :) (Congrats Lori, and thank YOU for being such a loyal & dedicated fan!! - Zepagain)
I've been watching you guys play about once a year for the past 4-5 years. Everytime I go I just soak it up like a sponge. I was a Zeppelin 'freak' about 25 years ago - time has gone by and I'm busy with a family, job and responsibilities, but it sure is great to watch your band and catch that spirit again. God, I love Zeppelin - sometimes I forget how much - but when I watch you guys play......satisfaction. Thanks for your dedication and love of great music.
Have seen all your performances in Folsom. Your tribute to Led Zeppelin is so powerful and authentic I never tire of the experience. Thanks for the great music. As always, I'm looking forward to your next visit.
What another great show!!! The crowd was really into it which fuels you guys, They practically had to kick us out of there since you played till almost 2a.m. Love it when you go from the song remains the same right into the rain song, and the stuff from" in through the out door"was a pleasant suprise...So much ground to cover, always leave wanting more, like wanton song, trampled under foot, no Quarter, just to name a few guess we'll have to keep coming back...Thanks again Zepagain
What a great crowd that night. The energy was amazing and people were definitely enthused with the Zeppelin spirit. I loved Babe I'm Gonna Leave You.... and opening up with The Wanton Song was an EXCELLENT move. The encores were breathtaking indeed. Thank you so much for such wonderful music! You guys continue to be bad-ass. :)
I'm getting old and senile. I forgot that I hadn't submitted my review. What is going ON with me? My apologies, boys! Wow, I don't even know where to begin... First off, I was mad as hell when I heard that you guys were going to go on a bit earlier. I was fearing for those that usually run late (like me) and them coming in half-way through your set. Fortunately, you guys held out as long as you could and there was a good crowd by the time you did get on stage. Hearing DANCING DAYS, BABE I'M GONNA LEAVE YOU and YOUR TIME IS GONNA COME just really made this evening verrrrrry special! Thank you so much for also having played my other jam, DAZED AND CONFUSED! That dizzying bow solo is just sheer musical satisfaction. GALLOWS POLE was groovy, as was ACHILLES LAST STAND. Kashmir and Rock and Roll also got great crowd responses. I hadn t heard Kashmir in a bit and I had been missing it a lot. But I must give the award of the evening to IMMIGRANT SONG. When you all came out and did that as the final encore, I knew my night was perfectly complete and I could sleep peacefully. I don't know what it is about that song... but the way you guys do it, damn! Kersey, I like those nice extra drum beats you incorporated into Achilles right as Swan and Steve do their call and response thing. Steve, I also liked how you added the intro chords to That's The Way, just like they did at Earl's Court. NICE!! Oh, and I couldn't help but overlook the Jimmy Page doll that stood perfectly still over the Zoso amp. I had no idea how he just didn't topple over! That place was bumpin' and the floor was thumpin'... great job guys!!! Thanks also for all the love that you show me from stage! Wow, I'm a lucky girl! Elaine, I PROMISE to call you next time I go down there. Beatriz, I can't find your e-mail. =( I love you guys and I'll see you on Friday!
Awesome show as always you guys! Madrushing to your gig as usual in desperation to escape and unwind, I landed exactly into Kashmir . (Talk about a subliminal directive-lol!) From there, totally rocked out to Moby Dick, Rock-n-Roll, Achilles Last Stand, Immigrant Song, Dazed & Confused, the Ocean, Stairway to Heaven, Whole Lotta Love, etc. I especially enjoyed Your Time is Gonna Come. I can't say it enough how I love the overall sound @ H.O.B. in San Diego w/ Zepagain. Such a perfect blend for sound. Thanks and btw-I m REALLY looking forward to that 2nd CD. Can t wait!
Dear Led Zepagain, Thanks for putting on another amazing show at the HOB Sunset Strip last Saturday night. As usual, we came out with a crew of about 10 guys and everyone had a great time. YOU ROCKED! Thanks for playing a couple of my blues requests! What a treat it was to hear you play Since I've Been Loving You, Hey, Hey, What Can I Do?, and Babe I'm Gonna Leave You. Man, did you nail them! Babe I'm Gonna Leave You especially blew me away. And your performance on Achilles was nothing short of epic. Please play LA again soon - we'll be there! Cheers, Shawn ps - How about a request for 'Tea for One' or 'I'm Gonna Crawl' next time? I know you'd kill it... pps - Which One's Pink was phenomenal as always. The double-header concert is unbeatable!...
I didn't think I could love you guys any more than I already do but after the House of Blues Hollywood gig, it's true...I do love you even more!!!! After 3 hours of standing in 3" stilettos and my feat throbbing, I wanted more! You are amazing musicians and I truly appreciate you! Thank you! My shoes and I can't wait for the next gig!! Love, Jackie
AWESOME! TREMENDOUS! INSPIRING! LOTS OF FUN! I've answered my own question of "will I ever get enough of your shows?" with, "NO!" All I can say is Thank You! Your shows are so tremendously exciting that I get all fired up DAYS later remembering any song or segment. Anyone out there reading this who hasn't seen this show should immediately click on the Upcoming Gigs page and get on the schedule! |
